Sarcastiball is coming!

Thanks Goodell! I heard earlier, on a sports talk show, a teaser that said Goodell is thinking of doing away with kickoffs to protect players. If true, the South Park guys must have a crystal ball.

 

It's amazing how these things grow out of control. The idea was proposed by TB's head coach.

 

............and listened to by Goodell who has the power to implement it.

You're overstating the power Goodell has. He can't just implement whatever he wants. There's committees for a reason, and they are largely responsible for implementing new rules

 

What committeee reviews the suspensions Goodell hands out?

 

There's no committee for suspensions, but there is a panel, jointly hired by the players, that hears appeals.

 

it would be nice if goodell would get suspended

 

Goodell is doing the collective owners' bidding. If the NFL got rid of him there would be another commish implementing what they want as well. He's not as powerful as some think.

 

Was listening to the Herd and he was saying that a no kick off game is on the horizon. Next 10 yrs or so.

 

Wonder how many of us will switch to a tougher sport. Like bad-mitten if they take the kickoff out
