I think Hunter will be a solid WR in the NFL. But still think Patterson is better and will be a superstar WR. I dont think a team could wrong with either one in the first round.

Yup, I'd be happy with either. And if we lose Sanders, they may very well go WR in the first.

Not allowed to take anyone named Dallas, sorry. I know some think we have addressed the oline enough and as it stands, I think we have a good one but if theres a really good lineman to be had when we pick, I'd be real tempted, all starts with the line and one more stud and we go from a good line to a great line.

Restricted free agent Emmanuel Sanders has signed an offer sheet with the Patriots.
The terms are not yet known, but the Steelers now have five days to match or let Sanders walk. Although "poison pill" offer sheets were outlawed in the new CBA, the Patriots have an abundance of 2013 cap room while the Steelers have next to none. It's quite possible the Pats have structured their offer in a way that would be difficult or impossible for the Steelers to match. If that's the case, Pittsburgh would receive New England's third-round pick as compensation since Sanders was tendered at the original-round level. It's an aggressive move by a Patriots team clearly intent on remaking its receiver corps, and an ominous development for a Pittsburgh club that's been shedding talent. Were Sanders to end up in New England, it would almost certainly signal an end to Brandon Lloyd's time with the team. Mar 16 - 2:02 AM

Gotta be the worst offseason I can remember. This team is in shambles. We'll be lucky to win 4 games next year.

Not saying I agree with jnico6, but if this report is true we have lost 2 of our top 3 receivers. That's quite significant, especially as depth-wise we went with a minimum number of WRs last season.

Adam Schefter is one of the most reliable sources out there. If never seen him post anything that isnt confirmed.

ok lets break it down. to starters on d. harrison played in what 9 games last year. he has a bad back and cant cover anyone. plus he wouldnt take a pay cut and was due 6 million. hampton is a 2 down player who has been getting moved all over the place lately. not sure what 2 starting wr's you are talking about. sanders wasnt a starter and he has trouble staying on the field. now lets talk about the 1,000 yrd rusher. when he was starting two years ago everyone was hollaring for redman. mendy gets hurt and you get redman. now mendy is good? of all the players we lost he is the most replaceable. heath will be back sometime. in the meantime spaeth is decent and paulson showed promise. we will be fine. by the way mundy is horrible

I liked Mundy because he was local and wanted him to do good but he failed. Wave Bye Bye Ryan!

Some would say we were lucky to win 8 games last year even with all that great talent you think we lost. If they have what would appear to be a bust draft then I'll worry. For now though I don't see where anyone they've lost are the kind of impact players that would make or break our season. Even in Harrison's case. I loved the guy but his time was up.

Matt Spaeth has been with the Bears for a whole season at least. Did I miss him coming back?
