I am so sick of this team's performance. It's been like this many years. They are never ready to play at the beginning of the season and play decently in the 2nd half of the season. I know Rooney's will not fire Tomlin, but I think if this keeps up, both coordinators have to GO. Bring in young bright minded coordinators. Cananda and Austin are only wannabe coordinators, we need good motivating legit coordinators that will bring new attitude and get them ready to play week in and week out. Niners have had great coordinators Robert Saleh and Demarco Ryan who are now coaches in the NFL. We need coordinators like that and a system that maintains continuity, change never misses a beat.

I think they will struggle against the Browns with similar problems from the opener. We might win, but will be very ugly win like 13-10 or 17-14. We will struggle.

They had won 65% of their opening day games under Tomlin until yesterday. That doesn't really support the conclusion that they are never ready to play the beginning of the season. I would have to look at 1st quarter of the season stats to examine that claim further.

We use to be able to say at least we aren’t the Jets or the Lions man how times change. No one I mean nobody is scared to play the Steelers in fact they are circled as a win on every teams schedule I could argue

This team has no identity..They need to be a run first team and that needs to be the mindset..They have all these offensive weapons and have no clue which ones or how to use them..Games are won in the trenches and they got whooped both sides of the ball.KP sucked Sunday, but there is blame to go all the way around..This O coordinator is never gonna succeed in this league, even with top talent.JMO..its been like groundhog Day around here for too long..

Do you even realize how young this team is?

Hahahahahaha. Man some of you guys are delusional. Do you not realize how young this team is. What did you realistically expect this season.

By average age we are the 26th youngest team. 49ers are 22nd.

I had no illusions about this team this year. But I would have expected to see a football team that looked like it had some idea of what was going on. Not that mess that they threw out there. But I guess you get what they're serving up!!!

Yes it’s a young offence rather than a young team. The Steelers have a lot of veteran players on D

Well, ****. I guess I should look up stats... Lol
I guess now if we take Cam out that should strengthen my position:lolol:

Perhaps I should have said youngest offense.

They’ve won’t their past two openers as underdogs to the Bengals and Bills.

They got blown out by a better team yesterday, it is what it is. It needn’t define the season.

I expected some good and bad. Unlike a lot of posters here I wasn’t sold on Pickett after his preseason performance against backups. However, I didn’t expect him to look as bad if not worse than any game from last season. Pickett was flat out terrible. Hopefully this was just a truly awful game by him and things will get sorted. If not it’s going to be a long season of 3 and out football.

the offense will struggle againt the Browns next week. they might make a few adjustments at half but expect similar outcome next week. It's the same thing over and over, unprepared.

Missed the 70s glory years but I remember waiting all through the 80s for them to get back to formidable in the mid 90s. Had a real nice run up until 2008-2011. Going to try and be patient again and hope like he'll the turnaround doesn't take as long this time.
