DHB is a toss up. Brown, Wheaton and Moore are locks. Bryant would have to be Fred Gibson bad in order to be cut, so I think he is there too. I think its DHB vs Moye for #5. I know I listed above that both would make it, but the more I think about it, that may not be the case.

I know that DHB has been disappointing so far throughout his career, but that comes with being a Top 10 pick. There's nothing that Moye can do that DHB can't do better.

DHB is intriguing in that respect. We all know that he was picked too high, and it was an Al Davis special in that regard. He was always going to struggle in Oakland for that reason. But there are some core skills there that warranted him being taken fairly high in the draft, and he has shown signs of development sporadically.

I want to see how he turns up at camp - bursting with energy to make his last shot at a successful career, or a journeyman looking for a paycheque. If the former, it's going to be a very interesting battle for roster spots.

Plax is over, put a fork into it and move on.

DHB has a good shot of making this roster the rest is up to him.

Wheaton is my wildcard cuz I have no idea what he brings to the table. This is his year to show us all.

I see some the OL FAs having a shot , thankful for Munchak.

yes thankful for munch, but also richard mann. if anywhere i think DHB has a shot to refine his game some under this old vet coach. all of our receivers can learn from him. this could be the best place for DHB at this stage in his career.

I've said many times that Richard Mann was a great hire, I think he already helped our receivers tremendously, both AB and Crotch had career years under him. I expect a big season out of Lance too because of him.

I'm sorry to disagree, but what have J Brown & Wheaton done to justify "Lock" status? Love the optimism, but I'd say Moore & DHB are closer to locks than J Brown & Wheaton.

Being a 3rd round pick guarantees him a lock status. That and they have said it's difficult to catch with broken fingers and are excited to see what he can do this season when healthy. Not a chance he doesn't make the roster.

Yeah, Wheaton is a lock. He is almost a lock to be the #2 receiver.. Something crazy would have to happen for him to not get any reps at #2. Guys from last year who could be on the outside looking in are Moye, Fangupo, Wilson, And Garvin. I'm sure there are some more I'm missing, but those are just a few.

Of the newcomers Baby Zilla, Moats, Blount, and Moore are locks for the roster. The rest (DHB, the corners, etc.) will all have a shot, but are definitely in a battle.

Bryant MUST make this team, he was flashing big time when I saw him at camp, he is the only WR on the team that could actually use his size to his advantage. Moye has size, but doesn't utilize it. If Bryant gets cut he will not make it to PS, trust me.

DHB finishes camp strong caught a 85 yard 9 route best play from camp they say. I think he makes the roster for sure.

I heard Moye had a heck of a catch too. I have no idea anymore who will make it after AB, Wheaton, Moore, JB and Bryant. Maybe both DHB and Moye both get left off, will they carry more then 5?

Why do you guys keep putting embernasty's name on the list. He was cut may 29 the we signed Mcgray in his place. Also hasn't velasco signed with someone else?

I think DHB chance to make the team is if they keep 6 Wrs, his edge over Moye is he can play ST.

When I started this, it was a LONG time ago. Guys who I never expected to step up have and guys like Embernasty aren't even around or have slipped like Arnfelt.

I will be looking as well. Roster building is probably the most important job of the coach and GM IMO. I love this stuff as well. I am down to just a handful of ???? marks and those mostly revolve around ####'s.

The million dollar question, How do they transition to the pro game?It always about player evaluation.
Give me the Jimmy's and the Joe's and you can keep your X's and o's.

I wasn;t up for watching the game.

which WRs take advantage of the rest of the preseason: JBrown, Moore, Wheaton, DHB, , Goodwin.

Does Greg Warren go on PUP or IR, and and does this open a roster spot? If it doesn't, While I was really looking forward to seeing Blanchflower, I am wondering if they keep Bryce Davis if he is a suitable LS replacement.

    Did our Punter return yet?
