Maybe Baltimore offered Lamar a fair deal, if he wanted a fully guaranteed deal like DeShaun Watson, then the Ravens did the right thing by not agreeing to it.

The media reported it was 250 with 160 million guaranteed over 5 years. No idea if thats correct, but that's market and a very fair offer. I get it, the Watson contract was unique and now the expectation is for teams to do something new, but that is just not going to happen under the CBA structure. If I was the Ravens I would seriously consider placing a non-exclusive tag and seeing what happens. If he signs somewhere else you get 2 firsts if you dont want to match it, worst case you pay him a boatload for one year, but you do that any way if you tag him exclusively. Its a risky move, but maybe Lamar has to see what he is worth to others, if he gets his fully guaranteed contract then let his become someone elses problem in the future.

Also remember. Watson had to go to a desperate team to get that. Nobody else was going to give that much.
Lamar may have to do the same if that is really what He wants. I hope He stays in ravenville. LoL
