So first glimpse of the rookie class getting acclimated.

Can anyone confirm the temporary locker spot they gave Harris? Looks like the one TJ had next to Ben his rookie year. Let the over analyzing begin

Don’t over analyze that. At least initially, empty locker spaces and jersey numbers are determined by the equipment guy.

My Friend do you hate Ben??
I have never heard one nice, or good thing about him from you.
I actually think it would be a good mentorship. He has made mistakes that he can pass on 2 a rookie.

I never thought of it that way, good point. Yeah, not thrilled with Steeler leadership nowadays.

I don’t hate Ben. I don’t hate anyone. If I passed him on the street I would say hello just like I had to everyone I passed before him.

But he has badly underachieving based on his ability and the money he has been given. I frown on that. And the thought of him helping a potential replacement, I don’t see that as even a slim possibility.

Beyond that, this would be a very long answer and probably an entirely different post.

Most Super Bowl Appearances in the last 20 years

    Brady 10. 7-3
    P Manning 4. 2-2
    Ben 3. 2-1

So just out of curiosity.. how many more would he need to have reached his potential in your opinion?

For many of the rookies one step closer to their NFL dreams.

I'm excited for this rookie class. These guys need to grow up in a hurry if the Steelers are going to have a successful season.

There are holes to fill, and they are many. I think I got that line from an 80s VHS porno, but can't remember which one.

While I agree with your post there have been games in the post season where Ben has played horribly. I would not have expected that from a hall of fame QB. Just seems that lately he can't elevate his game in the playoffs. Could be a team failing or coaching so I'm not sure. But the number of teams he plays poorly against bad teams is concerning to me.

I agree 100% with you on Ben. Although I sure as hell hate certain people, Ben would never be one of them. All those great wins and SB appearances will not be forgotten by me. Now he is getting on my nerves.

I hear what you're saying, but you could really put that on almost any Team or Qb that doesn't reach the SB.
Especially if you dig into it.
Most that don't go 2 the SB...played poorly in the playoffs.
That would include some that are already in the HOF, and some that are Going 2 the HOF.

I think he's referring to having the chance to stop Brady from getting there so many times and his performances in some of those games. 4+ turnovers
in the playoffs multiple times is not good for any QB

I don’t hate Ben either, I just think he’s done. By done I mean being anything much more than an avg NFL starting QB. He was great, he ain’t great no more. And he won’t be again.

Also lets not forget about how abysmal his performance was in at least the first two super bowl appearances. I mean a franchise QB that wasn't realistically even in the SUper Bowl MVP talk for his 2 wins is a little bit sad. I love alot of things about Ben. But the biggest part that sucks about Ben is his wasted potential of what he could have been had he been a little more open minded and not such a Jerk most of his career. We like to pretend he's some awesome dude but too many rumors, stories and legends out there all point to the guy being a backside hat! He might be one of the most perfect examples of getting by on raw talent.

Think you mean his first and last one. He could have been MVP in the Arizona one. Harrison, Holmes and Ben were all in the running for MVP.

To your overall point though, yeah, Ben hasn’t risen to the occasion like he should have in the other two SB’s. Playoffs, too. You can’t throw 5 interceptions.

Any other Qb gets the MVP in that Cardinals SB having the Exactly same game. Everyone just about Knows this.
Hell I've seen QBs win SB MVPs for less.
What some don't remember about His 1st SB(Not saying You)is, it was his 2nd year in the NFL, and He played Very Well in the Playoffs leading up 2 it.
What some say is the Worse Qb win in the SB...I believe they should Look at P. Manning's last SB.
At least Ben had a TD.
Both QBs(Cam , and P. Manning)in that SB didn't score one time. They only turned the Ball over.
Worse overall Qb play I've ever seen on both teams in a SB.
