Collectively, there is far more NFL experience and knowledge on this board than Tomlin, Bellichick, Reid and Shannahan combined.

Time will tell about Tomlin and the hall of fame. One Superbowl win and numerous non playoff appearences doesn't make a hall of fame coach to me.

Tomlin is a very good HC but there is no denying that a big part of what has defined his legacy up to this point is underperformance in the post season. His career isn’t over yet so I hope the remainder of his career is defined by post season success. At that point, his HOF induction will be a slam dunk.

Plus that was as a secondary coach, the pundits are talking his Head Coaching. We have the guy so until he decides to quit he isn't going anywhere so let's just hope he doesn't screw the pooch with this young team.

Cowher only had a franchise QB his last 3 years. Went to a Super Bowl with O'Dunghead. Tomlin had the same franchise QB for 15 years. A bit of a difference.

Tomlin will get in the HOF just because of his "non losing seasons",, NVM the fact his team was loaded the first 4 years of his coaching

Well if a bunch of players can get in on just the regular season....example: L. Tomlinson.....why shouldn't a coach??? Tomlinson never did squat in the post season.....hell He is one of the top 50 worst rbs in the post season, but He was a 1st ballot HOF

That “franchise qb” was mediocre to below average in the playoffs though. The only time Ben was on contending teams is when there was a dominant defense leading the way.

Tomlin is a great coach. Haters will have to concede eventually. The post-Ben turnaround seems to be going swimmingly. Kenny is looking like a potential top 10 guy in a year or 2 and the roster behind him is chock full of talent.

Tomlin’s true legacy starts this year. If he wins a Super Bowl with Kenny Pickett in the next 3-5 years, he will deserve his flowers.

Tomlin is first ballot HOF, same with Phillip Rivers. I'll take bets and yes you can parlay.

If Ben wasn't playing behind some of the $hittiest offensive lines to ever make it into the playoffs, there would be a lot more wins. In case you have forgotten, the 2008 Super Bowl winning Steelers were voted to have had the worst offensive line to ever win a championship. That offense was ALL Ben. He took a beating and still dragged them to the finish line.

Also, many of those great defenses S*!t the bed in the playoffs. I'm a fan and love this team, but let's not forget all the failures of others and lay everything on Ben Roethlisberger. They didn't win anything for decades until he showed up, despite all those "dominant defenses" and great offensive lines.

Or he will get in for being the winningest coach in Steelers history, if he decides to stick around long enough .

Well, Joe Gibbs managed to win 3 Super Bowls with 3 different QBs, Nick Foles, Jeff Hostetler, Brad Johnson, and Trent Dilfer weren't franchise QBs either yet they all won a Super Bowl .

Cowher fanboys love to give him all the credit for putting a good team together, but the fact that he chose crappy QBs wasn't his fault though, I mean Kent Graham and Jim Miller couldn't play a lick .

Tomlin I agree.... pending the results of this season. Should he make an AFC Championship Game appearance?!... Book it.

Phillip?! Much different story. Drew Brees is in that class; already making Phillip's journey that much more difficult. That is not including others like Larry Fitzgerald or even hold overs from the previous years of 2024 to 2026. I do agree that Phillip will get in Canton... but not on the first go around.
