Roger Goodell and suspensions

Dude is dragging his feet lately Ray Rice and Josh Gordon haven't been suspended yet, he gave Big Ben a 6 game suspension just on accusations. If a player did what Colts owner did Jim Irsay DUI and caught with illegal prescription drugs, a player would get a lengthy suspension no ruling yet from Goodell.

 

Yeah it is getting close to the season. I just looked and he laid the wood to Ben the 3rd week of April.

One good thing is that delaying the announcement of the suspensions is only going to hurt Baltimore and Cleveland in their preparations for the season. Well...that is if he levies any suspensions.

 

I got a feeling he's waiting for media to die down a little more. It helps that there aren't a bunch of groups calling for Rice's head as far as domestic violence goes, with the fact that they had him on tape. (Which is strange on it's own)

You have a guy who was indicted and had the charges dropped because he admitted it and enrolled into a program designed to relieve the burden from the Court System.

Josh Gordon is probably done, since his latest incident put him back on the front burner, but it helps Rice that all these other guys are getting in trouble, pushing his further back out of the lime-light!
