    To be Honest
Both songs are actually about dosing and the waiting for it to kick in.

That is interesting.. Landry Jones vs Mason Rudolph.

Landry was drafted in the 4th round in the 2013 draft and was on the team for 6 years getting cut in 2018 before the season began. Finished with a winning record for the Steelers with More TDs than Ints.

    Mason
was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2018 draft and has been in the NFL for 7 years, having spent 6 years with the Steelers including the 2026 season. Finished with a winning record for the Steelers with More TDs than Ints.

Landry tried to play for 2 more NFL teams, Jags 2018 and Raiders 2019. To me their story looks very similar. Landry Jones was tied at the hip to Big Ben and had many Steelers fans who praised his experience as a backup QB. It came as a shocker to many Fans when he was cut right before the season began.

Is it that hard to think History is going to repeat itself this year? Many Steelers fans will be shocked when Mason gets cut at the beginning of the 2026 season.

And, if you want to go even further down the Rabit Hole, about the past repeating itself....

Josh Dobbs draft by the Steelers in 2017
Mason Rudolph drafted by the Steelers in 2018
Landry Jones released after the Steelers have back to back years of drafting a QB.

Will Howard drafted by the Steelers in 2025
Allar/Beck/Nussmeier drafted by the Steelers in 2026
Mason Rudolph released after the Steelers have back to back years of drafting a QB.

On a side note: I am really hoping the Jets take Ty Simpson off the board for us when they draft in the 1st round. Hoping the Steelers do not use pick #21 on Simpson.

So you’re just going to pretend Mason wasn’t about to follow in Landrys footsteps when the Steelers threw him a lifeline?

He went through the free agent process and no one wanted him. He is on record that he was about to throw in the towel and go sell insurance before the Steelers called him.

Kudos to him for making the most of that opportunity when Pickett got hurt. Raised his stock and turned that into a job with the Titans where he proceeded to stink the joint out and tanked his stock again.

So we are playing what ifs, or what is??
What If I was born to Billionaire parents??
What if Green Bay didn't throw a life line to Malik Willis??? You wouldn't still be drooling over him. LoL
Also even if the Steelers didn't throw this so called life line to him, he still would have played way more games than Landry Jones, and at least one team brought him in, after the Steelers let Landry Jones go nobody even wanted him as a backup.

The Steelers almost certainly will sign a vet in a one or two year contract to be the starter

    They have non other option

Starting Howard is certainly not a viable option

Whatever scrap pile vet they sign is not going to be our savior so
    In reality it doesn’t matter

80% of us don’t like whomever it is

    It’s that simple

Hopefully we are in position to get a new rookie and from the looks of things that may be next year at best

There is a difference in tried, and actually did. So no its not simular.
I tried to be a billionaire, and I didn't. Jerry Jones is a Billionaire, but hey I guess we are similar. LoL.
You are right, beside how many games they both played, how many Tds they both scored, how many games they both won, and how many teams they both actually played for.......they are similar. LoL In other words, they are not similar.
