I know Mangini was a flash in the pan. However, wait until the first three game losing streak. Jets fans will say Saleh is worse than Richie Kotite or Adam Gase. Can he hold up under the merciless NY press? I think Saleh will have a lot of success in the NFL. I just don't think it will be with the Jets. They and their fans are fragile as hell.

You're saying he developed Sauce Gardner and Breece Hall or are they just really good?? What's his excuse for Zack Wilson's setback who wasnt looking that great til last game. Your math ain't mathing. If you're going to give Saleh credit for good rookie play then Tomlin deserves equal accolades for players like Bell, Conner, numerous WRs and lineman and linebackers. Let's just say it really is the high draft pics and leave it at that and save the embarrassment.

Nah. I'll keep embarrassing you if you're going to be this ignorant. Talent is great, but it doesn't matter if you don't put them in the position to succeed. Saleh showed he could weather a storm last year with the Jets. Now he has put all these pieces in place very quickly. That defense just keeps getting better. By the way, they just beat the Bills without Hall and with an offensive line that has been hit hard by injuries.

I'm not a big fan of Wilson. I don't know how you call it a setback when he really hasn't been good at all yet as a pro. Despite issues at quarterback, the Jets are good.

Also, when did I say Tomlin didn't deserve credit for the guys who developed under his watch? I may be of the belief that it's time to move on, but Tomlin is an excellent coach. I've never argued otherwise. I simply think Saleh is also the real deal and his team is in a much better position to contend right now and going forward than Tomlin's.
