Anyone tells me they don't get caught up in his rendition of Willy Wonka is crazy! RIP Alzheimer's sad way to go.

A great talent. Didn't know that he had alzheimers. Now he and Gilda are together again!

Oh man, so bummed when I saw the thread title. Provided a lot of laughter, Young Frankenstein might be my favorite of his.

    Rest In Peace, Gene Wilder

Hate to hear this. What a terrible disease. I know everyone thinks of him as being in Willy Wonka and Young Frankenstein but I always think of him as being in See No Evil Hear No Evil and he's also great in Bonnie and Clyde.

Silly and hilarious flick. Back when Richard Prior was still funny. Saw Gene Wilder once about 30 years ago driving a bright red Ferrari on a freeway near Pasadena CA. Being in a Ferrari and also being so short all I remember is how low to the pavement he was. RIP sir.

:crybye: RIP Gene. One of the best comedic actors ever. Some of the movies mentioned above are indeed awesome. However, my favorite was Silver Streak with Pryor and Jill Clayburgh.

So many good ones. Stir Crazy is probably my second favorite after YF.

Just saw this a little while ago. He was awesome. I think I'll watch Young Frankenstein again.
