RIP ANDY

    We lost a great one today. Growing up in the south The Andy Griffith Show is an institution and Andy Griffith is one of the most revered legends the south has ever produced. If you northern folks really want to know how us country bumpkins live just watch The Andy Griffith Show and you will get the most accurate portrayal of southern life that will ever be. I'm 30 and I've loved that show for longer than I can remember loving anything. So many great memories of watching it with my Papaw and just rolling in the floor laughing. They just flat out don't make shows like this anymore. So rest in peace Andy. You will never be forgotten. Anyone else here Andy Griffith fans?

    yep
    met the man many times while he was doing Matlock. like most people, he did have his bad days though nonetheless overall good guy and a great actor who just got pigeonholed
