Revis wants a contract similar to Mario Williams 6yrs 96 million

Revis is a fool if he thinks any team will pay a cornerback that type of money especially one coming off a torn acl. I see why the Jets are trying to trade him.

 

Dang! I'd like to have him but not for that kind of money. Also how in the crap did Mario Williams get THAT kind of money???

 

Revis is a diva. He's spent most of his time in NY complaining about his contract and holding out. We need to re-sign Lewis and with Taylor and Allen, we've got a pretty good core of CBs. It's no longer a position of need for us.

 

Let's just hope that Lewis doesn't go all "Mike Wallace" on us and want more money than he's worth.

Whenever I read comments about how the Steelers need to trade for a shut-down corner like Revis, or a dominating defensive lineman, I think those people forget how those players would fit under the salary cap.

 

You want them to put a little version of that badge in their avatar?

Nothin' but love for my Steeler brethren, but anyone on who thinks Revis would possibly end up here needs their head checked. I know he's already gotten a big payday, but you can tell he's one of those "never enough" guys...

 

I've complained about the non Steeler related threads maybe a half dozen times, hardly enough to brand me as the sheriff! I come here to read and talk about the Steelers, if I wanted to read about other teams I'll check out the other team talk section or go to the NFL site. I understand that you get to know people here and want to know their thoughts on other topics/ teams,but there is a section here for that. This place has been a disorganized mess as of late with the Harbaugh, Ravens, Kaperneck, Revis, who do we want to win the Super Bowl, and countless other non Steelers crap. This isn't my message board and I don't make the rules.

 

That wasn't directed at you, I know you don't have time to monitor every thread that is posted and for all I know you may not even care what is posted in the Steelers section. You may not believe this ,but I really appreciate this place and the time and money you have invested, I've gotten to where I come here for Steelers news before I look elsewhere. It's just my opinion nothing more nothing less.
