Also we added OL jesse Davis. Who was signed briefly to the vikings this year. I believe it was for a 7th round pick.
We also added a LB from Denver broncos who was traded for a 6th, but we obtained their 7th.

I didn't want to make a thread just for one guy and I'm sure more are to follow. I'll update this as I see others donate to the thread as I find articles.

    From an article......

The release of Sternberger means the Steelers will choose between Connor Heyward and Kevin Rader for their third tight end spot. After releasing Carter, Pittsburgh is now left with three players at outside linebacker behind T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith - Hamilcar Rashed, Derrek Tuszka and Delonte Scott.

Stephens' release narrows the depth at outside cornerback to Justin Layne, James Pierre and Chris Steele

That last part ignores the fact that Sutton can play outside corner, but that is also where the loss of Kazee hurts. I think he could have played the nickel when needed.

Losing Kazee hurt a ton. Seemed like Tomlin wanted to use 3 S and push Edmunds more to the box.

Agreed. I think we were going to see three safeties on regular downs quite a bit.

Yep. I didn’t see a huge difference between him and Rader.

Here is hoping we find a couple OL diamonds in the rough. And ILB and OLB.

So you keep Green???? Man there is zero justification for that move. No one would have picked up Green. ugh

ANOTHER terrible decision by Popcorn...Green might be one of the worst OL I've EVER seen...And I'm not being dramatic or exaggerating...

He either gets lifted up , and CARRIED straight to the the QB or RB...Or, He doesn't bother putting a hand on them at all!

Again , their stupid stubbornness rears it's ugly head, and they will NEVER admit their mistakes... That's why this once great Organization is in the position it is...an average Franchise...and has been for a LONG time...And nothing is gonna change, because the head guy is revered

Leglue is decent and I wanted him to stick around.

Is he better than Green? Not sure there's a huge difference. I think Green's draft value and expectations works against him on this in fan perception, and works for him on getting the nod from the coaches.

Where he was drafted should make zero difference. He's hot garbage. That's the only thing that matters. This was really a dumb move. Leglue is a better player than Green.

maybe you know this. After you cut someone how does clearing the waiver process work? How long does it take?
