    10. Tomlin looks like Omar Epps; Belichick looks like someone's depressive uncle.
    9. I've never seen Tomlin in a hoodie with the sleeves cut off.
    8. Belichick is a notorious non-lender: whenever someone asks to borrow a camcorder he always says it is in use.
    7. Belichick's postgames make Tomlin's clichés seem engaging and vibrant.
    6. I know Tomlin has teeth- he shows them when he smiles. It is possible Belichick is all gums which is gross.
    5. Tomlin didn't make out with his daughter after winning the Superbowl.
    4. Tomlin doesn't have a creepy relationship with Ben while Tom Brady pretends Belichick is normal or fun to be around ie. completely dysfunctional.
    3. Tomlin is a player's coach while Belichick is an NSA/CIA coach who goes through trash looking for playbooks, and jams radio signals.
    2. Tomlin won a Superbowl without cheating.
    1. Did I mention Belichick made out with his daughter?

After all this time, Tomlin still doesn't know what timeouts are for. But he has dignity, and I would take that over someone like Belichick any day.

Yeah timeouts are hard haha. Even Al Michaels was saying how bad the clock management was. Color commentator has better clock management.

Use the timeout before 2 minute warning means you can throw the ball anywhere and not lose time. They kept running plays to the middle of the field after the warning. Fine then use the timeout before so you get a middle of the field play that only takes 5 seconds off the clock! I was yelling at that point. If they had called the timeout right at 2:10 they could have had an incompletion and another play. Just terrible.

with the live streaming from the radio coming over the headsets, he should have known to call a timeout. heck, every commentator was saying it.:smiley1::cool:

Aren't you guys sick and tired of mismanaged football?
Is this not practiced, talked out, rehearsed time and time again?
Ben, TH, MT are TERRIBLE at this. When will it stop?

Please. Bellicheat has more coaching talent in his left testicle than Tomlin will ever have. This team is constantly unprepared and has zero game management skills. I used to make fun of Eagles fans for the way Andy Reid always kept a championship caliber team from winning a championship. Tomlin is just as bad (not that we have a championship caliber defense - or anywhere close to it).

Is that the testicle where he stores all the play sheets he steels before kick off? Or is that the testicle he keeps the illegal tapes he makes?

Yes, what was Cleveland thinking letting him go? What's that, Bellicheat would be just mediocre without Brady? And without cheating?

Nobody can fix Cleveland, he won two super bowls as DC of the Giants and won 11 games in 2008 with Matt Cassel. I hate the cheating bastard but I'd sure as hell take him over Tomlin.

We're not talking about current Cleveland. We're talking about the original Cleveland Browns (today's Baltimore Ravens). 2 different organizations.

    Just saying. :)

Was that dignity that inspired Tomlin to step into the field during Jones KO return?

Jeez. How many times do people have to make that gaff out to be intentional?

It was bone headed, stupid, careless and sloppy. But I don't believe for one second he did it intentionally, nor do I believe the ridiculous assertion he tried to trip him (try moving quickly to your left. Do it. Tell me you don't plant your right leg first.)

And frankly, if the ref had penalized him and awarded the Ravens with a TD as the penalty, I wouldn't have argued against it. It may not have been intentional, but it DID interfere.

You left out "extremely common." People freak out about him standing in the wrong place. That's where everyone stands, all the time, when the play is away from them. Sometimes they are all the way onto the field, not just on the white line. Of course, they back up if the play comes near them. The thing that made Tomlin's bad is that he had his back to the play, watching the screen instead for the better view. Took him too long to put 2 and 2 together is all.

Bob Pompeiani 93.7 fan radio broadcast yesterday asked
why the Steelers do not have a time management coach?
He went on to say they have coaches for everything else, brought up numerous occasions were the Steelers botched the clock. Maybe
our new hire, the analytic guy can help out Ben, TH, and coach T?
Something has got to be done about these guys. They have botched too
    many games for us.

Some people believe it was an honest mistake, while others believe it was intentional. We'll never know the truth, so no sense arguing one man's opinion over another's. After all, an opinion cannot be wrong...in my opinion.;)

Can't argue opinion but you can argue one action, if indeed intentional, was in the heat of the moment and the other as premeditated as can be, again and again and again.

We're not even comparing fruits here.

How do you suppose he planned that? He didn't run out there just before Jones arrived. He was there the entire play. So, had he been standing there for years on kickoff returns, as a fail-safe against a runback along his sideline, so that he could just-barely-if-anything-but-maybe-not-at-all have a small impact on the run and possibly limit the return to 70 yards, at a massive expense to his personal bank account? Or was this a one time thing, in which he instructed his players to funnel Jones to the sideline, because he was so certain a touchdown would be scored, he wanted to limit the play to 70 yards instead of a full 100? Which is it?

You're right, it's an opinion that he did it intentionally, and anyone is welcome to that opinion. But it's an idiotic one, and those that have it are idiotic for thinking it.
