Drew Lock and Noah Fant, why do I remember these 2 players being tied to the Devin Bush trade?

I don't know. As far as QB(the most important position in all of sports) goes, they have nothing going on now. Nothing. Who knows how long that might continue going through the draft process? I know that right now they are now in the mix. You have to considering what a top QB brings you, and make no mistake, despite last season, Wilson is a top 5-7 QB imo. Instead of wasting how many years and how many top picks trying to find a great QB, they just paid upfront to get one they know is great. Yeah?

 

Yeah they have a great Qb now, but is their team better than KC, Chargers, Raiders....that's just in their division. As we have seen Yes you need a Qb, but You dang sure need a team, or it won't matter. Ask Wilson Himself.

 

I don't think it puts them ahead of the Chiefs, though it gives them a shot in those games. It puts them right there with the Chargers.

 

Harris is better than decent, but Fant has really been a disappointment for the Broncos.

 

Either Willis or Corral as I see it. I am not subscribed to the notion that Drew Lock is the starting QB for the Seahawks come 2022 and beyond. Remember that he will be a FA in 2023 and does not cost Seattle much of anything long term. While Lock is starting, either or of the above can bide their time and wait; supplanting him in year two.

You're not wrong. I think Denver paid a lot for what they feel is the missing piece to their team.

but does it cost them the same amount of time to find the other pieces to go with him? If we look at the Bengals as an example they opted for their franchise QB but not protection for him in year 1, he got hurt and his season cut short. Year 2 they get an extremely talented wr that played college ball with that franchise QB and instant chemistry. They go all the way to the SB and almost win but their QB took a lot and lets be really like David Carr amount of punishment to get there. So year 3 do they go get another weapon because Mixon is almost done or do you invest in the line? Oh yeah not picking top 5 any more will hurt too.

I disagree... this was always going to happen. Only way to get through it is to get to it. The fact that its happening now at the start of FA and the draft is better for the Texans... and Watson if he wants to get back to football this year
