    Steeler Hall Of Famer Jack Butler passed away at age 85. R.I.P. Jack! Jack was a great player, but an even better person! :yeehaw:

    Yeah, just read this on the main page, RIP Jack.

    I think his son was just hired as a scout for the Steelers or was already working here and got a promotion, something like that, read it the other day.

    A Legend Has Passed Away- RIP Jack Butler

    Hall of Famer and Steelers legend Jack Butler died this morning in Pittsburgh. He was 85.

    Put the Steelers flags at half mast.

    Great player. My grandfather told me he was the second best corner the steelers ever had. I think he said second because he knows blount was my man. Glad he got in hof before he died

    I also would say Blount is the best but that's still saying something considering that Rod Woodson is also in the Hall of Fame and was a Steeler corner as well. At least he lived to see that he was inducted. Sadly that probably won't be the case for some of the other Steeler greats.
