With all the steeler talk it's time to talk about the dolphins and what they'll be doing.

    http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-dolphins/fl-hyde-dolphins-0103-20170102-column.html

I think it's safe to say we won't find out until game day, but to me... I'm nervous as hell either way!

I just wish it was more clear cut as who is going to play so that the defense can prepare, but PLAYOFFS!? It can't be that easy.

So start em or sit em. I'm ready!

    PS I bought chiefs tickets.

Gameplan as if Tannehill will play. Although, neither QB makes me nervous.

    Simple. Stop Ajayi=we win.

Agreed. I'm just a nervous wreck about this game and it couldn't come sooner.

I think the biggest key here is to get ahead. It seems as of late that we like to get ahead by a TD and coast. IMO, if we could get that second or third touchdown lead our defense is built for exactly that!

Correct. If we get out ahead neither of their QBs will bring them back into the game and it would be too late for their run game.

I am not worried about either, shut down Ajayi who is banged up as well and bring pressure to who ever is back there. Ben and company need to score score score like we did vs the Ravens in the 4th and not only do we win but we will beat KC and the Cheats like this.

I say Tannehill isn't playing. Although I'm honestly not too worried about a guy who's pretty much a scrub anyway coming off a knee injury for his first game back in the playoffs at Heinz. There are worse scenarios for the Steelers than this.

Yeah, his back up could be Ryan Mallet or something.

I am nervous but not because of the dolphins. I am nervous because I aint sure which steeler team shows up. if we show up it doesn't matter if marino is qb. they cant stop us.

I will say I cant believe they will run for anywhere near 100 yards after the last game. the defense should be embarrassed and play with a chip on their shoulder. I think dophins will have to throw it to win.

that being said. neither one scares me

well given that it is heinz and not at miami, I feel a little better. "stop AJIJDJSDj". Yeah, im sure most opposing teams say "stop bell" but look what happens lol. Now AJIJDJSDj aint as good as bell, but still. Our offense will need to carry us.

I doubt Tannehill plays. I think Moore will. I think "the Tannehill might play" is nothing more than a decoy by Adam Gase.

But if you want to put a gimpy knee QB who hasn't played in almost 4 weeks who has never started a playoff game himself, on a 20 degree day on a natural grass field be my guest.

Plus Moore has't been the reason the Dolphins have given up over 30 points the last two weeks. He has looked rather well in his playing time.

Stop Jay Ajayi, put up a 30 spot on offense. Move on to the next Round.

I can care less which QB we see but there was talk before the Cheats game that Tannybum was hoping to be ready. At least that was what they were saying on Sirius nfl radio........

I think it'd be better for the steelers if tannehill plays. Just because he is going to be rusty. If it's moore then he is nothing special. Like others said stop the run and steelers win. Gotta win this game in the trenches.

Tannehill is no threat to dominate a game, in his 14 starts this season he has 19 TDs and 12 picks, considering he hasnt played in 3 weeks I hope he starts this game, his 1.4 TD average per game isnt a stat to be scared of, in my opinion he is less of a threat than matt moore...

I think Moore is a better QB right now. Tannehill needs mobility to be effective, and even then I'm not sure I'd take him over Moore right now (though he has a much higher, as yet unrealized ceiling than Moore).

They will play Moore as others have stated just a smoke screen to make the Steelers D prepare for both of them...Also as was stated the key to this game will be our O and their running game ...We need to score early and often to help us stop their running game...Our D is not good in run/pass options we can take those away by scoring ...

Tannehill isnt practicing today. If he doesnt practice Thursday I think its safe to assume Moore is starting.

Friendly Dolphins fan here, I enjoy checking opposing fan boards before games to get a feel for your team. Tannehill looks to be out and that is a big blow, he was playing some very solid football this year, much better than the stats will show. Make no mistake, Matt Moore is a big downgrade, we are grateful to have him as he's a great backup, but he's beaten up on some teams that have given up and has gotten very lucky at times with some the prayer duck throws haven't been intercepted. This is a different team than the one you played week 6, sadly we won't have Tannehill, Reshad Jones, Pouncey, Abdul-Quddus, possibly Baccarri Rambo and Byron Maxwell as well.

From what I've seen the Steelers D has gotten much better from the last time we played, really our only chance we have is Ajayi going off and Suh and Wake getting pressure on Ben early and often. Hopefully I'm wrong but I see a 31-17 Steelers win. Best of luck out there and may the best team win and no injuries. /if we lose I'd love to see you guys take out the Pats, I'm a big fan of Antonio.

Doesn't matter who their QB is, the RB is the bigger threat.
