Not when you have premier edge players that can contain him. Plus you have Minkah in the back end to play over the top. He is supposed to be a premier safety.

you are correct about the short passing game. Since that is how they exploited us I some how thought you inferred that with your earlier comments. I apologize.

if we stay in zone what us the alternative if press man isn’t the answer and zone is failing us. Because we have t been able to figure out this riddle for decades now.

    True.

Yeah, I don't care as much about their build as long as they are a good player. I think we can make the money work if we really want to spend the money at WR (even with a GP extension). Khan is good with cap, and even if we sign GP to a 30 million dollar contract his year 1 cap hit will be only like 15 million or so. I wouldn't mind. I like Jackson well enough. He is pretty good in our system. We definitely can't pay both a high end CB and a WR2 so if the price is right for Jackson, I don't see why not.

Kenneth Grant is definitely the guy you're looking for then. Not sure how much you've followed CFB this year, but he is an athletic guy at 6'3'' 340 lbs. Fits exactly what you mentioned you were looking for. Could easily be available at the end of round 1. I'd be fine moving Benton to Larry O's spot if we draft a DT.

Yeah, agree. RB is pretty easy to find usually. LOTS of good RB's available. LOTS of good RB's in the league. Not many Saquon's or Derrick Henry's, but there are more than 32 starting caliber RB's in the NFL. I'd like to see one that is a bit more versatile in what they can do. Najee isn't explosive enough (nor good enough in space) to be an every down back in the NFL.

Yeah the injuries to the rookies this year hurt. Wilson should help a bit, but I don't want to bank on him being the #2 WR this team needs. I'd be really happy to be 4 deep at WR next year though with Pickens/new guy/Austin/Wilson. We need that room to improve. I am however, banking on Fautanu being good. We REALLY need him to be. If he can be a good T and we see some further development from Frazier Jones and McCormick, then we should have a pretty solid OL.

I agree with most of what you’re saying. I’m just not as high on Jackson as most are in here. If they could actually afford bringing in a free agent wr maybe somebody like a Courglsnd Sutton he would be perfect. I don’t think he would command top dollar.

I doubt Denver lets him walk. Maybe Tee Higgins could be an option. If we did that then somebody like the DT from Michigan would be perfect. Pickup a cb in td two and get a rb like Cam Skattebo in the third. He is a lot like Warren but I love his vision, quickness and contact balance.

Courtland Sutton is probably not available. The Broncos are a playoff caliber team with a rookie QB that is playing well. Plus hes averaging 86 yards a game over the past 7 games and has scored 5 TD's in that span. He will be 30 in 2025 and will only cost 20m against the cap. No reason for them to move on from him.

The only teams I can see possibly trading a WR would be SF with Deebo Samuel (slim chance, but they already invested in Aiyuk and a first round pick in Pearsall), DK Metcalf (since JSN has broken onto the scene and they are in cap hell at the moment), or Tyreek Hill (team in cap hell and might want to move on at his age. Though a 50 million dollar cap hit in 2026 could be a deterrent). Signing targets would be Higgins, Godwin, and Diggs on the high end (though Diggs and Pickens together... idk) and maybe Slayton or Cooper as consolation prizes. I honestly think a first round selection makes the most sense. We can sign a DT for a short term hold over at a much better price (BJ Hill or DJ Jones) on a 2 year-ish deal and push off that selection another year. 2nd-3rd round would be great to find our RB. Quinshon Judkins and Omarion Hampton are more physical backs, and I like Judkins better out of the 2... or we could go with Treyveon Henderson and hope to hit it big with his big play ability. Henderson would be most ideal in a split, and a guy like Warren is perfect. They have very similar skillsets, I think Warren would be the slightly more powerful runner of the two, while Henderson might be a slightly better big play threat. Skattebo seems fine, but he's a fumbler and I am uncertain if he is explosive enough to be a lead guy in the NFL. I don't want a back that struggles in the same areas Najee does. I think explosiveness should be paramount in our next RB1
