I am sold on Allar's arm talent, size, and durability which are excellent.

But his accuracy is merely good, not very good or great. He has not had a first or second round pick at WR. In fact he had never had 3rd round type of talent either.

As such his yard 15+ completions suffer. Is it Franklin's system or lack of WR talent? Likely a bit of both.

How does he read defenses? And how is his release? IMO, he could be better on the crossing routes.

Don't get me wrong, I think he has first round passing skills. But he lacks a good coach to develop them and the WR talent to make them shine.

Since college football is now OPENLY a farm system for the NFL, with infinite and immediate transfers and unlimited NIL, what other players on PSU should we(Steelers fans) be keeping an eye on this season? I don't even attempt to keep up with rosters anymore. My school has 70 new players this year with 3 returning starters total. Our new QB, Brendan Lewis, looked very good vs Chattanooga yesterday. We'll see how he holds up.
