Prospect has Steelers tattoo

This is pretty funny. I wonder if anyone questioned him about it at the combine...



Rontez Miles, a safety prospect invited to attend the NFL Combine from small California University of Pennsylvania, was undergoing defensive back drills at the combine Tuesday when many noticed an interesting tattoo; Miles has the Pittsburgh Steelers logo tatted on his left arm.

According to the University’s website Miles is originally from Braddock, PA, thus explaining his support for the Steelers. Miles was also highly recruited out of high school before attending Kent State and transferring after his cousin was kicked off the football team.

Scouting reports say Miles can hit like a train, so he might have a legit shot at making the pros. Hopefully his tattoo is a bit prophetic and he lands with the Steelers or that tattoo will be the target of a lot of playful locker room ridicule.

 

He can have the 'ers' removed and put a big "MAN OF" above the logo. Would only be the bazillionth athlete to make a Superman reference to themselves in the form of a tattoo.

 

Or he can just have the tat covered up. No big deal.

I looked at his videos and posted it in another thread....He sure does hit like a train...Small school guy with a NASTY on field demeanor...Sound familiar?
He's a safety and already as good as Munday was.lol... and would save us $$ over a vet....Plus he is a special teams STUD and we all know how we need that......And he's a STEELERS fan...........DUHHHHHHH

 

Yeah this dude has great potential.

 

if the Steelers do get him, he better live up to what other Kent State players did before him: LIGHT PEOPLE THE **** UP (good ole Jack Lambert, Silverback ...)

 

I don't think that would be a problem...One thing that translates from collage to the pro's is Hitting&Tackling....watch the video i posted.....When this guy hits people they STOP>

 

Or he can keep it and show his childhood idle team. It's no big deal! He is from the area.
