    I hope Pouncey doesn't make the news again this year while celebrating his birthday. I don't care about that one trick pony Wallace.

    Thanx, Gamecock, for giving a different link to the video...

    I couldn`t get the first 2 to work... Old computer, or whatever...

    I thought maybe Maurkice called him a coward for being afraid to go over the middle, or something, on the field...:shrug:

    Off the field...

    Whatever, he is gone, and maybe he can help the Vikes...

    Don`t really care much about him at this point...

    SOME Ex-Steelers, I keep tabs on, but not many, and certainly not him...

    He got what he wanted, (the money), and I hope it keeps him happy, while he sees the team he left, succeed!:steelflag:

    As for the rest of it....

    I graduated high school a LOOONNNGG time ago...

    And left the drama there...

    Maybe they can do an episode of "GLEE", where pro football players whine about their ex-teammates,...

    Won`t bother me either...

    `Cause I will never see it!!!:lolol::razz::herewego!:

    GO STEELERS!!!

    He is exactly right. I know people at the children's hospital who say Troy is there all the time. He uses a back entrance because it has nothing to do with him its for the kids. Beard does a lot as well but I think he is sticking around and living in Pittsburgh so that probably won't change. Taylor does a lot as well.

    I'm sure those guys do a lot, but they didn't start the trend of Steelers players supporting charitable causes, nor will they end it when they leave.

    No they didn't start it but they are active members of the community and they do a great deal to help the charities in the city. Keisel's shear the beard fundraiser collected 67 thousand for the children's hospital, Troy and Theadora have multiple fundraisers for numerous charities through out the city which will likely continue so long as they stay in Pittsburgh but should they choose to move to California I would believe they would concentrate their efforts there. My point in bringing it up was to point out a more human side beyond what we see in our favorite players or just players getting old and losing skills. Now I am sure that the 3 sports franchises in Pitt will continue with their charitable work but those charities will suffer somewhat as high profile stars like Keisel and Polamalu begin to fade from the spotlight until others step in and help to the level that they are used to. It is something to think about beyond the football field and what these players mean to the community, does that mean they should stay on the team? No just that it goes beyond just the game and has an impact.

    Well I called him a Coward when he played for the Steelers. He wouldn't block , he wouldn't run good routes ,and he very rarely fought for the Football. Seems like a Coward to me, ty Twins for finally getting my back.
