I kinda don't consider us a 34 anymore, no matter how much folks say it's the base. We ran 425 74% of the time; therefore, I see our Edge more as DE in the 4 man front. Slot CB/#3 S is a rotating starter role in the defense these days.

I really don't see a need to keep more than 6 DTs on the roster and even just keeping 5 seems reasonable. Guys like Leal and Loudermilk are definitely trade bait and if not, I see them as expendable.

Wish they kept Roberts, the ILB room would look better with him in it. Holcomb is good but injury prone.

Kozora had Logan Lee making the 53 over Ya Black the 5th round pick.

I agree with him. Just my opinion of course, but I think Lee is a better all around football player than Black. Black is a very large human but spends too much time on the ground. Lee is the all-time sack leader at Iowa.

Do not think that Daniel Ekuale is going to make the Final 53 personally. Way too light and too short to be a 3-4DE a la Derrick Harmon or even Logan Lee. On that note, I also don't believe that DeMarvin Leal is going to make it to the Final 53 either.

Daniel Ekuale - Hmmm 6'3" 310, not sure size will get him cut. TJ is taller by 2" but lighter... I would say production will get him cut. His stats are not great by any means.
I would agree 100% on Leal. Jack Sawyer should overtake him - that motor of his looks like TJ part II... hopefully the skills are there as well.
I think NT Davis is a cut.

I wonder about Cole. He was most definitely a solid LB at Washington but that injury took a toll on him. I don't like the Depth behind Queen (Cole/Robinson). Cole may prove out, I am just not confident in that.

CB is what I want to see how it unfolds. I don't like Slay starting. I wish Trice could beat him out, 6'3" 206lbs. He can match those troublesome WR's... Maybe Slay will rub off on him.

Just a few early thoughts. I need to see them in camp in a preseason game.

I misread Daniel's size via a quick Google Search. He is listed as 310lbs as you said. That said however, I do believe that he doesn't make the Final 53 personally. For me, it is between the likes of Loudermilk, Leal and Lee. Of the two, gimme Lee and Loudermilk. Leal is the odd man out.

No issue,,,, it isn't like I have made worse mistakes.... I agree. His performance, unless he surprises us, will do him in. Probably spot on about Leal.
