I have heard this but I really don't see how ben did that. he was asked who's call it was and presumably answered truthfully then said he didn't make a good enough throw and that he threw the pick that lost it. To me this is just someone comfortable and mature enough to answer honestly about what happened when directly asked. He also was directly asked who he heard it from and said he wasn't second guessing anything or anybody. If he refused to answer I am sure many would criticize based on their prejudice anyways.

Honestly if anything I hope the coaches do some second guessing and work to get on the same page with Ben to improve the clock management. But that is another story/criticism.
