I dont have the all 22 but Harbaugh seems to try to make BB be patient with the underneath dink and dunk stuff.

I thought The Washington Team with no name tried to do the same and make BB be patient.

There were a ton of drops but Washington seemed to neutralize some of the way the Steel likes to attack.

Even with Conner...I dont know if the run game would ever have been established with the Wash front 7.

I also seem to think that the Steelers are some how tipping some plays by personnel and formation when the Washington Pro team watched film.

Its easier said than done but going 4 or 5 wide and in hurry up would at least put some Wrs and TEs in space or one on one match ups.

Crap...even singling Ray Ray to go in motion to see if a LB will follow will help BB determine if its man 2 man just like Brady did with Julian.

They even said Ravens exposed us. This looked like the 2014 ravens playoff game. Rush 4 drop 7. Announcers even said WTF only rushed 4

We must improve the run game and the play calling. The Browns are more dangerous than the Steelers right now.. Our record is a lucky one we must improve and we can if the Coaches wise up and get more creative..

No argument there. I watched the Browns-Titans this weekend and was really impressed by the offensive playcalling and execution by the Browns. These are not the same old Browns. The Steelers are in for a fight Week 17

Yep the Browns play calling and designs are light years ahead of the Steelers, its sad because we have a distinct advantage in talent , but we can't put a game plan together to use it .. If your short yardage is a problem do something, give Dobbs a hat and go Wildcat .. If you can't run block well change the sets to help the OL .. I could go on and on , but all the possible fixes are simple and instead of moving forward we are getting worse ..It just makes me sick ...

We need more jet sweeps and bubble screens and mix in some of that run the slow guy wide and the little guy up the middle.

I read somewhere that they now don't even try to sack Ben, they contain him with 4 and put their hands up to block the quick, flat release.

Right now against our offense I would go with rushing 4 dropping 7 but not dropping too deep. Ben just does not through the deep ball well enough to scare anyone even with a talent like Claypool. He was so open but still had to wait and jump for the ball. When was the last time Ben hit a WR in stride down the seam or down the sideline.
Play everyone tight to the line of scrimmage because I know nothing is going ten yds down field and if Vance is in the formation ignore him the Steelers already have.

That's the biggest problem now, we are running out of time to fix our problems. I'm thinking it can't be fixed in time for the playoffs. Not enough time for new running and passing schemes. Hell we hardly don't even practice anymore. Playing 3 games in 12 days dosen't help.

That 1 bubble screen was incredible, they really fooled Washington when they put Ebron in motion and he brought 5 defenders with him, they need to do more of that. (no need to call a time out)

I am not sue about running plays that have transactions close to the LOS. I say the Skins defense have 8 players within 4-5 yards off the ball and every time we handed off from shot gun, the RB never made back to the line. Same with these dink and dunk plays. We don't threated defenses down the field so they cheat up close and shut just about everything down running and short pass wise. 14 rushes for 21 yards my God that is pathetic. Also time to demote players who can't catch simple in the hands passes. Not reliable anymore but they'll play next week and drop some more. Not sure what a wr has to do or not do to be held accountable.
