Hoping Covid does not cause any more wide spread outbreaks on teams this season. I know there are clear advantages for extra time off like healing from injury, preparation, etc

In this 2020 Steelers Edition ....I see a team that seems to be so heavily based on timing...especially the passing game.

Even this last game...it seemed that the synch was off a little..which may have messed with the timing of the pattern to go short in case of a hot read.

    Thoughts?

Timing didn't seem to be the problem, they were flat out dropping the ball. Maybe lack of concentration was the problem.

Last game was an aberration. Scheduled, rescheduled, re-rescheduled, and re-re-rescheduled. The Steelers were the ones at the disadvantage. If there was a time we were going to blow it, it was last week. And, outside of two plays, the defense did their job. The offense showed the effects of an on again/off again schedule.

Don't read too much into it.

I don’t think time off played a part in our receivers suddenly developing hands of stone.

Yeah. That was always a struggle with me in that the Steelers seem to to start off slow after a bye but that could be a perception that is inaccurate on my part
