Right now, the Chiefs are better defensively. That is part of how they are winning lately even without the big offensive numbers.

Probably 2 % chance I think somehow they go 8-8-1 . But I’m not all there so? What are the chances of making it next 3 years if they don’t get Watson, Wilson and about 8 linemen ?

I guess you haven't watched the Titans play lately, and they will be without Derrick Henry.

 

What people miss when they say “this is not a playoff team” is that fans of about 3-4 teams that WILL make the playoffs say the same thing. This might be a playoff team…it’s not a team that can make a deep run. But, yes, the Steelers can still make the playoffs and when I look at teams 5-11…I think we’re about the same as most of them.

 

I am with you on this because we are what we are. Right now, we have a chance until we don't. Other teams haven't earned a spot until they do. The likelihood is nearly vapor thin but there still exists a possibility. Not sure going out via a slow death is desirable to being killed quickly, but it is a long off season, and this is all we have until the curtain falls for the last time. Then its concentrate solely on Go PENS time.... JMO>

 

What about the Ravens. Lamar has yet 2 beat Ben. Hell He's only beat this team once , and that was with Duck, and it took Him a late hit, JuJu fumble , and a overtime kick by their robokicker 2 do that.

 

How can you say these teams have a very rough or brutal schedule when they need to play us?

 

Uhhh, because we are underrated and the team to beat in the AFC, once Joe Schobert can be more productive and be more aware and get better position. Watch out!!!!

I live in KC and see just about every Chiefs game. Their defense is playing alot better in the past few weeks. Mahomes is still a great QB and Kelce(TE) will torch the Steelers secondary.

 

For sure. Steelers are still alive and if/when they aren’t…It’s GO PENS !!

 

Only hope is that they are in Pittsburgh so maybe the Steelers will play two good qtrs. and have a chance.

 

I agree and it will make the NFL interesting come Playoff time. 14 teams make it and the winner will be who gets hot at the right time.

I'm not a conspiracy theory person but if the Patriots play Tampa Bay in the SB I'm gonna start shaking my head at a lot of things.

 

We’re not great right now but playoffs aren’t a fixed thing. Bengals are really inconsistent, Ravens record is flattering and has involved more than a bit of luck. There is no single consistent team in the AFC right now.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not optimistic about our chances. But I look at the Ravens and struggle to see a bona fide play off team there right now…

it doesn’t appear that the other teams schedules are more brutal than Pitts and none of these teams have a worse record right now.

If TJ plays, I like the Steelers chances of winning that game, Tannehill hasn't been good since Henry got injured.
