So when asked whether a lack of PT is going to be a problem what do you expect a kid to answer?

 

I don’t really have a favorite phrase. But, “I don’t see it as a problem”, is not what I like either.

Not sure I’m understanding why you’re asking me to repeat my responses with the same questions phrased in different ways.

 

That's my dream first round. Trading back 2-5 spots and still getting the player you targeted. Khan and Weidl seem to know which teams will take what. I'd love to see us get an extra 3rd or maybe swap picks, like move up from a later pick 100 spots for a late 2nd day or early 3rd day pick.

 

You have clearly tried to turn a perfectly acceptable and reasonable answer about a lack of PT into him somehow being lazy.

Carolina and Pittsburgh both are despearte for even mediocre C at this point. IT only takes one or TWO other teams, and they're out there, that see BPA and swoop in and upgrade their C and move their current C to OG to fix two positions. Looks like a Tampa Bay or Miami could be in th market too. We can try and wait out an OC dropping, but if JPJ is a once every 3 or 4 years OC, I'd rather trade up for him than risk getting Frazier or SVP of UGA in round 2 or 3.

I trust Khan and Weidl, so if they have worked out who has the luxury/need to pick an OC in top 3 rounds and they come up with jsut two teams, then maybe you wait till round 2 and cross your fingers. But another year of sub avearge OC play will make us another middling .500 team and add to our growing legend of playoff patsy and easy pickings pushovers. I hope they have a sleeper in mind that can be had in round 3 or 4 for either OT or OC, one from a small school or just hits their checkmarks and can be a nice, affordable surprise starting OL. I'd rather have a plug'n play stud, but we have holes at OC, OT, CD, IDL and WR, probably in that order. We can't plug em all in first 3 rounds so one of those is going to have to be a diamond in the rough project.

 

Don't call a kid lazy without evidence, if you had said "I'm worried about PT" fine - i'd have disagreed, but that's a fair opinion. To try and turn "I don't think it will be a problem" into a lack of work ethic needs calling out. If you don't like being held accountable then don't make **** up in the first place.

 

I think 3 could be off the board by pick 51. I would rather not reach just to get a player the scout services like. I also trust Khan and co. I have favorites in Frazier and Van Pran but if not one of them, I won’t panic. I really like Limmer too. I think he will be there at 84. Just have to wait and see. Gonna be a fun draft.

Let me apologize for taking away from your enjoyment of this forum. In the future I hope you understand everything I post about the draft and prospects is 100% my opinion.
