Good to know where we stand as a team. Eagles game you get 1 pass. No excuses why we lost. Losing games like this is why we are always outside looking in. We have no defense. It's masked by opposing teams ineptitude and by being behind. Our offense presses too much. Beat the cheatriots, beat the Cowboys all I ask.

Well technically you are correct there is no defense since Cam is out, Shazier is out, Hargrave is a rookie, Golden coming back from injury, VWILL coming back to Earth, the secondary still a work, however if the pressure was on the Dolphins the defense would have looked stellar.

I blame Haley and the offensive gameplan. Love how they kept making a point how Ben was looking at single coverage at the end and they score. IE they doubled AB all game and forcing it to him to get his stats in Miami = not winning football. But keeping the business boomin is all that matters.

If AB is covered why isnt the offense going through Leveon and Deangelo? Why throw to receivers with no experience?

Jekyll and Hyde team that plays down to poor competition.

Always on the outside looking in? Did I dream the 2015 results?

If they play like that against the cheats they're going to get beat 50 to 10 every year keep losing to the teams that keep you from getting a first round bye or the number one seed every year in the Tomlin era

I'd say it's more the complete opposite.

We stands as a team as one of the potentially best offenses and a developing defense with a lot of rookies. At the same time, the offense struggles to get going if things don't fall their way, and the defense makes mistakes as young defences do.

Result? solid wins and bizarre losses.

I think you're going too far. We can hang with anyone, but we've also shown an ability to lose to the worst teams in the league. It happens far too often. The biggest problem with that is that NE is 48-1 in NE against the AFC since 2007. We can't expect to go into NE and win. We need to earn home field advantage. The Pats simply do not lose at home and Denver is a brutal place to play as well.

Everything about today was just awful. Ben played like crap, our defence was the worst it's been all year and our playcalling was terrible. When your RB is averaging 5 ypc, you need to run the ball. We didn't run it nearly enough. Yes, Bell is a great receiver, but first and foremost he's a RB, use him like one and get first downs and keep the defence off the field. We get too cute sometimes.

This, plus the obvious injuries issue, is it perfectly in a nutshell.

This team just has serious levels of the false consensus effect written all over them.

Then again... injuries do not help. In the same token, if players are using that... then another phenomenon known as the group attribution error is created.

    Nah.
    It's becoming the norm.
Team is unprepared, loses to bad teams.
They finally, sorta get it together and sniff the Playoffs ...... hurt and unprepared.
It's just how it is with this head coach, that's the culture right now.

Playing down to the level of competition is a culture?

No thanks. If that is the culture... then a superiority complex is developed from within; a continued influence effect for us fans to think that Tomlin is capable of beating inferior teams.

Look at all these other teams taking care of business.

Cheatriots 5-1 missing Brady 4 games.

    Vikings undefeated with Bradford.

A rookie qb and a rookie rb demolishing teams.

Sure we're 4-2. But this team decides they want to show up sometimes. Best offense my ass. Double brown and rush 4 and wow we are done. Give bell the damn ball. Stop worrying about stats to brown. Do what works and just win. Ok I need to chill, being this mad is just stupid

I almost told 2 real good friends some not so nice stuff tonight bc they are cowboy fans.
Say what you want, the talent is there on this team but the coaching just isnt there. I am real close to just watching the Penguins.

Why did our offensive line get destroyed by the Phins front four? No adjustments? I thought Munchak was some kind of offensive line guru. Isn't this his job? Everyone blames Tomlin.

If they are playing with a lead, the Defense is lights out. Adversity and it looks pedestrian. This Defense is not ready for prime time at this point and can't be relied on to bale the Offense out. I would like to see them stop getting shelled between the 20's. They have been somewhat stout in the red zone, but then the dam breaks. Inconsistent. Bend don't Break isn't going to cut it.

When the Steelers play crappy teams, the don't game plan to take advantage of said team's weakness, they just button up on both sides of the ball and preach "don't make mistakes". Players don't buy in, they fall behind, start pressing, mistakes follow. Go back and look at all of the bad losses - they follow this pattern, then the media and coaches blame the players for making mistakes.

They don't lose these games on Sunday - they are lost during the week.

Do you remember what Tomlin said after they put a 50-burger on Indy? They knew they had to score every possession to keep up.

During Jets week Tomlin said that because of all the injuries, the coaches must be "razor sharp" in preparation.

After the Chiefs game, he said the game was touted as "Redemption Sunday" all week.

I want a coach who treats every Sunday as Redemption Sunday, who preaches razor sharpness every week, and who feels like his team needs to score a lot of points every week, not just against scary QBs.
