I was really hoping for a big time change after Mike Tomlin announced his departure. The organization kept him at least 6 years too long. His coaching style got stale with some of the players. Unfortunately all they did was pivot ever so slightly and hired basically the same type of coach in Mike McCarthy. I do not expect any significant huge changes. Maybe in a year or two we will win a playoff game but they really need an identity change and a QB willing to do things his own way. Need to take the handcuffs off and see if Will Howard could possibly be the guy. At least we will know by 2027 draft how much of a need the position will be.

i think were in a good position. If Howard works out weve found our qb and we can strengthen the rest of the roster. If he doesnt, we should get a good pic in 27 and even trade up a little if need be to get our franchise Qb. Steelers just have to do their homework and give the rookie good support this time.
