He was playing like **** and the fans started booing. His reaction?

“I think if you’re a grown-ass man booing in that stadium, you’ve got to take a look at yourself,” Jurkovec said. “I think that’s pathetic. But, you know what, we didn’t play well. We’re gonna be better.”

Not a good indicator IMO. Hey buddy, no participation trophies. When you suck, you're gonna get booed. Stop sucking.

From the article, Jurkovec completed 7-21 passed for 94 yards through 3 quarters. Yea that sucks. lmao

 

He was terrible. And he says, “We need to play better”, not I need to play better. Just seems like a jerk. There’s a reason this is his third team in six seasons.

 

Huge disappointment game. And this is the team that felt they were dissed by the critics for not being ranked to start the season. Seems the critics knew something this team didn't. Even Nick Paddy who was not very good had more presence on the field than The Jerk. Pitt gave up on their run game way too early. Could have used some clock to reassemble the D. Maybe. Next up - backyard brawl on the road.

 

To the extent these are college “kids”, I can understand what he is saying about grown men booing. I am imaging my drunk self booing while standing next to the guys mom. Awkward.

I think students booing would be more reasonable.

Of course I don’t like when Steelers fans boo when the game is still in doubt. Don’t mind so much at the half if they play like garbage the whole half.

 

As a player.....if You don't want people booing You....don't Play any sports. People boo....I've been booed....anyone that has ever play sports has been booed. It part of it.
Hell I've been booed by my own family. LoL

Jurkovic sucks. He was terrible tonight. Worse than last week. 8-21-81 yards, 3 interceptions. Yet, Narduzzi kept running him out there. He might have the tools, but he can't play. He couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat. I don't know who the backup(s) are, but they could hardly do worse than Jurkovic.

 

After calling Pitt fans pathetic and then letting WVa embarrass us, I think the fans will be on a very short boo trigger at the next home game. Jerkovic might cry.

He should have been on a short least after he blew the Cincinnati game. This season is lost. A bad year this year could really hinder next year's recruiting class.
