Yea. I think all are likely gone. Dennis has the best chance of staying. He didn't walk during Sr. Day and said his decision will be soon.

I'm pleased with how this group finished the season. With the portal and such, I consider this season over and the bowl game merely an off-season game for the purposes to see what you have next season. Doesn't matter if we beat UCLA or lose that game.

Considering that Slovis was gawn anyways, I would've liked to have seen more Patti and Yarnell.

I have come to the conclusion that unless something drastically happens at Pitt. We
may never even sniff the CFP new 12 team format. In my remaining lifetime I will never see another National Championship.

I think We will see quite a few different teams when they go to 12 teams. Honestly.....that maybe the only chance some of our teams may get.
I like it just for the reason that the 12 teams that get in... most of the kids will now stay.....unlike the non playoff bowl games right now.

I love the 12 team concept. I just don't think Pitt will be one of them unfortunately
    for me.

I see Pitt is up to 8 players opting out of the Sun Bowl,
Can someone please remind me why we have these bowl games again?

I get what you're saying and they definitely have lost a lot of meaning. I think its probably still cool for the young men to get to experience preparing and going to a bowl, getting the swag, and making memories with their teammates and getting to meet new people and make connections. I also think its good for the fans of the schools who still want to see their team compete. In many cases, it's about seeing what talent is on tap for next season and letting them get some playing time against real competition. I mean, nobody wants to lose their bowl game, but the team on the field is different than the team that played the regular season or what will be on the field next year. Especially considering the transfer portal. The schools also get some money and publicity. I still love this time of year when there is football every day!

I watched a bowl game the other day, and 11 starters didn't play. LoL. Crazy.

How about Florida's flop. They no more wanted to be there than I did.

I believe he is pretty decent, was sad to see him transfer. Not enough playing time?

You could tell from the UCLA QBs early penalty they thought they had this in the bag. Lol. Great game Pitt, was expecting a blowout the other way with the players who suited up vs UCLA having everyone. Nice finish. Better Call Saul as the post-game guy shouted. Hell of a game winning kick.

Hail to Pitt!! Awesome win with a bunch of players opting out, on the transfer portal, or injured.

He was a grad transfer. Seems like all of our grad school guys that were heading into their 5th/6th year transferred. Morgan is a hell of a college DLman. Not sure how he fits in the Arkansas scheme but he likes the rush the passes.

Overall a 9 win season for Pitt is a successful year. Better QB play and this is a 10 or 11 win team but it is what it is. 20 wins the past two seasons for the first time since the early 80's. Hopefully they keep building upon this foundation. I suspect that next year the team will slightly fall back some. I think the defense should be very solid once again but there's some heavy losses on the OLine and Izzy is a big loss, even if Hammond is very capable in his own right. Really going to come down to Jurkovec and if he progresses in his development.

That backdrop behind the Sun Bowl is why I love the west. There are just seemingly just random hillsides everywhere. If anyone drove on northbound I17/I84 just north of SLC can confirm how majestic it is with rather flat land to the west and a gigantic mountain just a few hundred feet to your right/east. The landscape out west is just too breathtaking and why I decided to relocate out here. Just gotta get me an RV and travel to the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone and my life is complete.
