Yes, it is true. We have questionable coaching that often leaves Jones on an island. The results speak for themselves.

IMO, we should play 2 TE's a lot more. To make them stop our run, and to offer Rodgers more protection.

We don't use our #3 or #4 receiver much anyways.

I dare a beat reporter to not fear dark shades and ask him this question.

Most jersey's you see fans wearing are usually the biggest known stars on their team. I have actually saw a Lane Johnson jerseys in my area. I had to ask the guy who he was. I told him he could be the only NFL fan who wears an Offensive Linemen's jersey.

Broderick Jones 'should be' along the same trajectory as Trent Williams, they are about the same skill sets and both have started their careers off with struggles.
Of course that doesn't mean they are same, it's just a reference due to the similarities I saw with Williams back in Washington. Broderick is nimble enough but not quite as fast as Williams.

Williams had the benefit of playing under Bill Callahan from 2015 to 2019 which changed his career.
I don't think a lot about Pat Myer and his assistants. There are good arguments and evidence to upgrade those spots.

They are both ( Jones and Willliams ) left on an island often by thier coaching staff. Go figure out why.

No less authority than TJ Watt said Lane Jonhson is the best Tackle he went up against.

I get to have the Titans on my tv every week. Ward holds the ball a lot longer than ARod. I don't think BroJo would beat Dan Moore out for the Steelers LT if both were still here. Ward looks like he will get better and be a good QB, but for right now he's still in the college mindset and won't get rid of the ball. Moore has to hold his blocks longer than BroJo on average. I think that skews the PFF score.
I'm not giving up on BroJo. I just don't think he's very smart. I think being naturally physically imposing his whole life, he has to learn how to work now that he's in the NFL. I hope he gets there.

We need another good WR. We need another good RB. What we should have now is a good TE room. Aaron was so happy with the four of them in camp/preseason that they were actually messing around with a 4 TE formation. So, where are they? After DK and Warren, we can load up on TEs on the field for all I care. Put them near the line and disguise who is blocking and who is releasing. Help the young OTs, confuse the Defense, have bigger bodies on the field to run block, etc. The schemes and play calling are too boring.

Another WR for what to not throw the ball to him, Arthur isn't using his TEs like he should.

I could see why TJ would say that....
I kind of agree with the chart though and it does not make me happy 2 OT's from Filthy is on it.

Roman "Jesus in cleats" Wilson our Lord and saviour is on the way apparently.

He's why it was ok to ignore WR2 for two years...

37 of our 54 offensive snaps were run out of 12 or 13 personnel. To put it another way almost 70% of our offensive snaps were from multiple tight end sets

    Thanks.
I didn't realize it was this much, but by my eyes it was at least over 50 % of the time, and I thought he must be just another guy blahing, like sheep, and apparently hasn't watched the games, or doesn't understand what they are watching. I was going to say something, but I'm seeing so much of it, I skipped it.

Trying to smooth out the math in my brain....6 out of ten pass snaps the OTs are left one on one. 5 out of those 6 they are successful and "win" their one on one assignment?

I do not think that anyone on this or other Steelers message boards would have believed that stat.

It does align with the idea that this is FAR better pass blocking line than a run blocking line...

And there have only been 2 completed passes to WRs not named Metcalf or Austin. In 3 games.

In 2019, the statistically best season for Smith and Tannehill in Tennessee, the 3rd and 4th WR on the Titans had 3.75 catches (completed passes) per game over the course of a 16 game season.

Only 9 catches off the pace!

That our 3rd and 4th WRs are barely seeing any targets because of all the multiple TE sets we run? Limited snaps, limited targets, limited catches.

The entire offense has had limited snaps. Around 50 plays per game, which is pathetic. The defense can't get off the field and the offense struggles to stay on it.
