Penn State pulled a Steelers move

    Up by 12 with 8 minutes to got and they proceed to miss tackles and call one of the worst plays on 4th and 5 (situationally) I've seen!

    Giving up a 90 something yard drive in the manner they did was awful.

    But seriously...

    Who was the rocket scientist that decided that on 4th and 5, with the game on the line, to give the ball to the dude who averaged 2 inches a carry the entire day?!?! How do you take the ball out of the hands of the only player actually moving the ball with any effectiveness?

    They could have and should have had the game in hand by halftime. But they kept shooting themselves in the foot and let Ohio State hang around. One mistake, and they're back in the game.

    I have serious doubts they'll ever make the playoffs much less win it all while Franklin is calling the shots. He's not a bad coach. But he can't seem to ever get over the hump. That 4th down call should get someone fired.

    Not to mention after three consecutive time outs and you go RPO. They should have spread them out and given McSorely options.

    I almost forgot how they chose not to try a FG while behind by one point.

    Wasted opportunities all day long.

    atrocious play call. Really impressed by McSorley though. I haven't seen too many PSU games.

    That one-handed catch by #84 was pretty...
