Patterson in a boot

That doesn’t bode well for his availability anytime soon. Read something last week that Warren will be a while as well. Although, tomlin seemed optimistic about Warren’s return yesterday

 

I misread it and was worried, thought it said "Patterson got the boot!" Sure like the way he blew up the Indy line with a vengeance. Hope he can return soon.

 

Injuries just awful this season.

 

It could be a bad sign, but a boot can serve many purposes. It could be protecting a longer-term injury. It could also be that something is inflamed or aggravated and wearing a boot helps calm things down. Even a day or two wearing it can be very helpful.

 

Sometimes players wear a boot after the game as a precautionary measure.

It's my fault. I included him in one of my player prop bets. I have some uncanny ability to bet on guys who get hurt part way through the game. In his case though he was already well above the rushing yard total I needed. I lost though because in a 4 leg parlay I needed Austin to have over 1.5 catches.

Second time already this season. I also had CMC in the game he got concussed. I need to start hiring myself out as a "hitman". For a small fee I'll bet on whomever you want taken out.

Not all boots are the same. If he is wearing one up to the knee, that might be true. There are shorter ones, too.

He’s in a boot and not practicing. Those two things don’t point towards a precautionary measure. Couple that with shampklin being activated aging one or both of Warren/patterson will be inactive this weekend

 

probably both.

Neither practiced today which pretty much guarantees they aren’t playing Sunday
