    Hmmmm...

    Seems that Patriot fans have come a very long way from their days of getting butt hurt over every "disrespectful" thing thrown their way.

    It was "disrespectful" that the Steelers DARED to make contigency plans for travel to the SB when it was going to be a short week after the AFCCG in 2001. How DARE the Rams talk like they even had a chance to win a second SB. The entire world is gargling Tom Brady's nut sack and ready to canonize Bill Bellicheat, but can you believe how the Panthers have no class at all for thinking they might be able to win the game? And how the media is being so disrespectful for even talking about Carolina?

    Anything that came out of any player's mouth, any city's fan base, and any media reference NOT proclaiming New England Heaven on Earth itself, Tom Brady a Demigod, the Patriots the greatest team of all time, Bill Bellicheat the most intelligent strategist since Sun Tzu, Patriot fans as paragons of virtue, pride, and grace (and damn sexy people to boot), Bob Kraft the greatest man of all time, and not predicting the Patsies to roll over any team in front of them was classless, disrespectful, rude, stupid, and hateful. If you even entertained the thought that maybe the other team should at least get a chance to play the game, you were an a-hole. If you called any other franchise a great organization and didn't qualify it with "but NE is better," you were a cretin. Any player or team expressing confidence or even hope was hubris, foolhardy, and a blatant slap in the face to their team.

    But there's nothing wrong with this.... :rolleyes:

    Don't get me wrong. I think it's funny as hell. But after their decade of preening and fake histrionics over being "offended," they have no right to open their mouths... ever.

    Puck Fatriot fans.
