    I don't know why any true football fan would want Peyton to retire. Even if you don't like the guy, he's one of the all time greats. Any time a player like that retires, the sport as a whole takes a hit. No true football fan should want Peyton to retire. I also don't even understand the hatred for the guy, other than jealousy. He has no rivalry with us whatsoever.

    Only true fans in Canada eh? I really like Peyton but would rather see him retire at the top instead of holding on and, possibly, re-injuring himself.

    Don't misunderstand. I'm not saying you're not a true fan if you want Peyton to retire, I'm saying I think true fans should want him to keep playing. It's not an absolute statement, more of a suggestion.
