the DB confusion was there last year as well and they blamed Minkah for it. I'm not sure who was DB coach last year.

I don't think Minkah was too dumb to be able to use words. Seems like confusion has been there for years

I was specifically responding to the question regarding retaining Alexander, who wasn't there in 2024.

It doesn't make much sense to me hiring a DC that's coming off a 3-14 season and expecting him to somehow become a winner with the Steelers. Just another mediocre hire to keep the Steelers wallowing in mediocrity.

they don't realise there is a ROONEY COMPLAINT THREAD
The Mike McCarthy complaint thread disappeared those complaints have already started too for some here
It's like no matter the thread some always slide that way.
They should just make it their signature and save time
    DUH

    SO SAD

I think it is worth noting that in my research recently on Graham, the Raiders fans seem to hold him in a very high regard. They say that his defenses often outperformed the talent and circumstances greatly. Their offense has been garbage and they don't have a particularly talented defensive roster, and they felt that his defenses performed admirably given the circumstances. The consensus I saw on anything that they posted on was that he was a pretty good DC who was given little talent and had to overcome poor offense consistently. I also think being retained by two separate HC changes in LV is also a vote of confidence for me as well

His defense out performed ours by a good bit in yardage allowed. I'd imagine he would at the very least be an upgrade over Austin (even if I considered Austin to be a bottom 5 DC in the league). He will likely have a bit of a fresher scheme, as Tomlin seemed to have been running the same stuff he did his whole career. I would hope, at the very least, it would mean we would stop having ILB's matched up with WR1's with the frustrating regularity we did the past decade or so.

I don't know what it all means, but it at least gives me some hope that our defense will improve under his direction. I don't share the negativity as others do on here.

Good prospect. I would imagine that we would have some level of interest if we are looking at safeties.

Being last in the league in offensive scoring will lose you about 14 games a season.

I'll give you that much, the Raiders didn't have much talent on defense other than Maxx Crosby. Graham will have a lot more talent to work with now, TJ, Highsmith, Heyward, Harmon, Ramsay, and Porter. I should give him the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

I like the hire as some have pointed out he does a good job with poor talent.. He also is creative with stunts and blitzes ,I think the Old regime had 3 ran exactly the same way...lol .

So lets give the man a chance, I have high hopes for him just from being versatile and creative ..He may actually change game plans according to the opponent weather and such..

Trade Watt and Highsmith for Crosby.

Crosby, Herbig and Sawyer would be a badass OLB corps.

Would love to have a player like Crosby on our side, but I seriously doubt that trade would ever happen.
