I didn't like his fire. Score a TD then get flagged on some BS

 

Two days ago, I couldn't see any way they'd cut LJ......now not so sure. If they did, then keep both Adams and Ola. Kind of a copout answer, I know. But I really, really want them to keep Dobbs.

 

Pierre was losing his **** all playoffs calling him out too. He cost them the Capitals series and partly responsible for them finally winning a Cup. Game 5 which was basically Game 7 with how many games the Pens played the last few years. Up 2-1 going into the 3rd and Letang steps out the way and lets Kuzy walk right in for a breakaway and score. He was out of position for at least 3 game winning goals in that series.

 

I know, right? That looked damn good.

 

That's easy, cut Dupree.

 

Personally I think we pinch our defense way too much, especially in crunch time play off hockey.

 

The worst thing about that game that still bugs me is that a minute or so before the winning goal, Kuhnhackel hit the left goal post.

 

Ehh it was a borderline cheap shot though, understandable. If it wasn't I'd agree and would want him to shut up and get to the sidelines.

 

First Half Notes:


- Bye Bye Landry Jones. This is the end for him. Dobbs has so much more to offer than Jones. Forget the whole "experience" argument. Dobbs has potential yet to be reached. Jones has hit his.



- Is Bucky the savior? I doubt it but he is making a compelling case to make the Final 53. Given our depth, should he continue his ascension, he should be considered.



- I think we need to look at Olasumkami Adenyi as more than mere depth. For me, in due time, he could become the next big thing among the linebackers. Is that a very bold prediction? No doubt. However, he has shown enough to become something more.



- Marcus Allen is having a quietly good game. Filling in those alleys and making good special teams plays. Needs to keep it up.



- Chuks had his rookie moments tonight... more often than what we have seen. Then again, he has still impressed me regardless. He just needs to keep growing.

 

Well this has been quite the game.. Really seeing talent in our backup QB situation. Landry has to go if you ask me. We cannot afford to not have both Rudolph and Dobbs

 

RR still having a conniption over those blown roughing calls.

 

Marcus Allen continually filling in those gaps.


That is sound gap containment. Need more of that.

 

I like the enthusiam on Dobbs. I also think Bucky might get a hat. Vance McDonald is an injury magnet.

 

Really like what I am seeing from Allen.

What happened with Thomas on that coverage?

Adams hasn't shown me anything worthy of him making the team, Ola has made splash plays often.

Why can't some of these corners become more aggressive on their press?
