    The author of this particular Rotoworld article did an earlier mock draft, predicting that Billings would go at 21.
    Since all 32 teams passed on him for three rounds, shouldn't they all get a failing grade?
    Or does the author get an "F" for overvaluing certain players?

    Before the draft, you could go on 10 different sites that cover all 32 teams and you would get 10 different positions as the Steelers top need. I may be slightly exaggerating as the secondary was an obvious need even to those "analysts" who skim over each team. It's the same for them giving the draft grades imo. The higher grades are usually directly proportional to the teams drafting earlier. They see a bunch of recognizable names for one team and its an A+.

    Personally I give this draft a "Barry Sanders" grade. You can get close but you can't get a solid hit on it. Which is the usual outcome, but that's what makes it so fun to analyze and speculate before the actual thing goes down. Great picks and a solid draft this year for me.

    This was shocking to me what the Giants did, You never know how other teams big boards are aligned, then add multiple trades. WOW
    you have a cluster.

    I kinda understand why the Giants did what they did;

    If you follow the Giants, they can't seem to keep healthy people in the secondary. That's been an on going problem for them for years now. And Prince whatever whatever didn't pan out. He was a cornball. So we saw them upgrade their front seven through free agency so you figure they had to address their one sore spot over the last 3-4 years and that was their secondary. They took a guy who could play safety or corner and as they piece together that secondary, they needed a guy who brings that type of flexibility because it would allow them to fix that secondary even faster. But if the right linebacker/d-lineman were there, I think they'd have gone that route first.

    Plus...Jerry Reese was/is on the hot seat to get it right that draft and get some players that will pan out.
