I would prefer Green to be the starter, Finney sticks to his backup role.

He may be the center to start the season but he won’t hold onto the #1 job for long. I give it a month at most.

I think Green is the real deal.

Maybe they should get more out of free college to prepare for life outside of football, no?

there is truth to that and some that stop all together once they declare for the draft. For every Josh Dobbs rocket scientist there are 10 majoring in the history of sports medicine and its practical application or hospitality and advertising. Didn't Landry Jones do a basic go-fer position with a construction company before signing with the XFL he had no job experience outside of football?

Right. However, no player is going to have real job experience outside of football when finished with football and that is what a degree with help with. In many good job positions, the company is primarily looking for degreed applicants that have demonstrated that they at least started and finished getting a diploma and no other warning signs. I believe most jobs will train someone on what and how to do things their company's way and a degree gets your foot in the door unless you have experience in previous roles or are an internal applicant. Point of clarification:

    Oil workers = Rough Necks

Leather Necks = USMC, worlds finest military organization in the history of history.

It's ok. USMC has several nick names and hard to remember them all. Gyrines, Jarheads, Leathernecks, Devil dogs, Sea going bell hops, etc.
