Garrett could’ve permanently damaged or killed a guy on national tv over a ballgame. It may have ruined the league and the sport itself. And the inhabitants of that cesspool celebrate it. Typical. Mistake by the Lake is a well-earned name.

Meh, most of the drama of it all is over and just a story from years ago now without any lasting damage of serious consequences.

So, it actually made me laugh. Too soon…?

Not at all. It ended up being a nothingburger. I just have a hard time digesting how someone could make such a reckless choice. This one just sticks in my craw I guess.

I'll never understand how Garrett is allowed to play football after that. It's like allowing a rabid mongrel dog or poison snake on the field as far as I'm concerned.

The worst part of this was Garrett pulling the race card… when in doubt flash the card. I will never ever be a fan of him. Handle it a little better young man. Heres an idea, take responsibility for your actions. I would respect that
Sure do wish i could pull my ugly card everytime i wanted something!:beg:

This doesn't surprise me coming from Browns fans.

I think this a big time false equivalency.

Been around Browns fans my whole life and a large portion of them are about as classless as it gets. I always heard people say they felt sorry for the Browns and their fans, but never me. No fan base deserves a lifetime loser more than Cleveland.

You’re probably right about that since Jussie Garret’s blow to Mason’s head was somewhat of a glancing blow. But if the lying, race baiting, attempted murderer had connected solidly and Mason had DIED on the field from blunt force trauma to the head we’d all be singing a different tune, wouldn’t we? What Garrett did was unconscionable. OJ committed a crime of passion using a knife and Garrett committed a crime of passion using a helmet. When a 270 pound beast swings a blunt object full force at your head it could very well end up with the victim losing his life. It’s not funny at all. It’s attempted murder, I don’t care what the circumstances were. Now the scum bucket is a hero and DPOY shoe-in to the national sports media. So…I guess it is a false equivalency in that OJ succeeded in his attempt to take a life and Garrett failed in his.

And this is a surprise? Something in that lake water...

Unfortunately they will get the last laugh this season.

This is the result of what Dr Malcom tried to tell us in Jurassic Park, some things go extinct for a reason. The NFL made a terrible mistake bringing the Browns back.

Sadly, if that were Steeler fans it would be even worse because they would have a Tomlin effigy being beat up.
