Well, I'm happy to see the Patriots lose. And I'm happy to see they apparently have an INT-happy QB.

What a stupid throw by Drake May. You had at least OT in your back pocket and you throw a fade away pick off your back foot to lose the game. Good job by Drew Lock down 10 points and you hang in there to lead your team to a win.

    So again,

I remember vividly saying that Drake Maye will be a very good starter but not someone I would consider Franchise QB worthy during my 2024 NFL Draft Write Up. Why?! Decision making, processing and lack of deep ball accuracy. All of those things have crept up more and more since then.

This is the year that New England needs to find out if Drake Maye can fix these shortcomings to get to the next level. Again, only one game; 16 games remaining. That said, old habits die hard. That statement cuts both ways.

Mac Jones not looking too bad right now. How do you throw that one up with being in FG range. sticks in your craw as Charlie Waite said.

    Even more horrific throwing mechanics.

Lock goes 16-22-187, a TD and no turnovers for a 113.3 rating. That's what you want your backup QB to do.

But he was just 5 votes away from being the league MVP last year.

The decision wasn't even the bad part. Drake's deep ball has been suspect for a while now. A.J. Brown was supposed to aid in his development. Here in lies the issue; A.J.'s best routes are from either posts, slants or hitch routes. All of these can maximize the one area where AJ is best at; YAC.

Even without AJ, ball is in Drake's court to find a way to win.

League MVP has lost its reputation for a while now; same goes with every award the NFL does. Rather, the voters are not specifically voting on the best player overall but rather who deserves it the most. Major difference between the two statements.

2025 proved my point. Matthew Stafford should have had more votes overall for he was not only the best player on the Rams but the best player overall. Drake Maye wasn't even the best player on his own team. That honor belonged to Christian Gonzalez.

    Yep.

Just drive the Ferrari well enough to get home. Don't push it. Nice and steady.

New England won't have the benefit of playing an easy schedule this season .

Lock had a QB rating of 113. I'm pretty sure they're much happier with that performance than anything you would get out of Rudolph
