The Browns are you kidding me 13-9. This team is one and done in the playoffs. In to off season the Rooneys need to find out who they want to keep. Arians has to go and they better take a real hard look at the team itself and see who the real performers were this year and let some of the older boys go or play the bench for awhile. :hmmm:

Go cheer for the Browns then! With what they were given w/ injuries/weather/etc I'm not complaining had Redman not fumbled (at least that 2nd time) we wouldnt be having this convo. There have been worse scenarios happen of top teams loosing or playing bad against crappy teams...its not the end of the world...the NFL is a week to week game.

No way. We'll cruise through Denver.

Unfortunately, then we'll have to likely face Baltimore and whichever Officiating crew is assigned to help the Ravens win.

But we can still beat the Ravens.

We have a puncher's chance at the very least.

    I like your optimism, BB40!

We'll crush the Broncos and stand a good chance to run the table all the way to the Super Bowl. The result of this Browns game really shouldn't have been that much of a surprise to anyone.

This also will probably be the final score next week.

    :amen:

I would love to have seen a blowout, but I never got too riled up today, because the game was essentially meaningless.

Now if we look this lackluster next week, I'll be worried.

They're playing 8-8 Denver. So I'd say they have a decent shot winning there. And not going one-and-done.
But this has not been a particularly good road team. It's hard to see they winning three straight on the road.

I'm usually a little on the pessimistic side but I think we will crush the Donkeys.

Frustrating game today but the Browns have been playing us tough the last couple of years. The 50-0 Browns quit at the end of the season days are gone ... The Broncos have lost I believe 3 in a row and accomplished exactly 60 yards passing today. It'll be a tough game but to proclaim one and done at this juncture is an overstatement.

I have been a Steeler's fan longer than you have been on this earth gpguy and I have seen a lot of Steeler teams come and go and all I'm saying they need help in the play calling and O line.

Where do you live, bettissb40? 13-9 was a good score considering the weather. I live here in Cleveland and was pretty impressed with their performance in the wind/rain/snow. I never predict a Super Bowl because I believe anything can happen in the playoffs, but I really believe that the Steelers are the scariest team in the AFC field right now.

Is the game Saturday or Sunday??
I believe the Steelers have a good possibility of shutting them out TBH ...I'm kinda glad the Steelers didn't get the north handed to them..They lost 2 of 4 to the ravens ,,very good motivation for when/if they roll into Baltimore Noway they lose 3 in row to them.
    GO STEELERS!!

1 and done? That's a bit harsh. It's a new season. The STEELERS are always a serious contender in the playoffs.

As close as the score was - the Steelers were dominant in this game. Two Redman fumbles killed any chance at a blowout. Further - the Steelers D has given up a total of 3 - count 'em - 3 touchdowns in the last 6 games. That's a good record moving into January.

This is pretty much what I expected...I feel like we held alot back. I am pretty confident heading to Denver. I actually dont see a team in the AFC that we can not beat on any given day. The Bengals got HOSED in the game today and still almost won it. The Ravens are very beatable and we know the Pats are, too.... :flag:

Exactly. People forget that because they are 4-12. Plus, we play them so often, they are VERY familiar with us.

One can be both a Steeler fan and have an opinion on how we can get better, all at the same time. Most of us are not brain-washed homers who see no problems with how we play the game sometimes, especially on offense. There are a few of those types on this board but thankfully they're in the minority ( like Bigstinky :roflmao: ).

    :FBAI!:
