Of course he wants an extension. There is nothing wrong with Harris trying to look after his own interests. I imagine the Steelers will try to work one out, but I think he is going to want too much money, so they will end up exercising the fifth-year option.

 

If only if it were that easy.


SaQuons contract is interesting as he is one of the most electrifying players in all of football... when healthy. Thing about Najee is that he can say that vs Barkely when it comes to negotiations. In addition, the amount of Offensive Lineman investment the Steelers have made within the past two seasons + the amount of production Najee has had could be something elee Najee's agent can use in terms of leverage.


Problem is, while this new Offensive Line will greatly aid Najee.... the same applies to Jaylen Warren. For me, if I were to pick between the two, I'd want Najee. However, price has to be right.

 

Brian Baldinger mentioned this yesterday. He said the Steelers will have the best offensive line in the NFL this year and when you add the blocking of Washington at TE then it is crazy how good they will be running the ball.
