OK, at least be within the realm of realistic.

My dream first 3 rounds, AS OF NOW, are

    #17 - Bryan Bresee DL

    #32 - Darnell Washington TE

#49 - Captain Jack Campbell LB

    #80 - Clark Phillips III

    I don't think it's too far fetched.

I like a couple of the same guys, Jball. And I think we miss out on a LT

    17 Joey Porter Jr
    32 Brian Breese
    49 Jack Campbell
    80 Mazi Smith

also give me Riley Moss in the 4th and I’d be a happy camper

If we got Moss in the 4th I'd do backflips.

This would be good too. If we got Washington at 49 I’d feel a lot better about missing out on the top tackles. He’s almost as big as a tackle

He would go a long ways towards being a powerhouse in the run game again

    Who I want:
    17: Cam Smith CB
    32: Darnell Wright T
    49: Benton DT
    80: Jordan Battle

Who I think the Steelers will pick:
    17: Brian Branch S
    32: Dawand Jones T
    49: Jack Cambell ILB
    80: best CB/edge available

Also think the S (Brown) from PSU is very much in play in the 2nd or 3rd.

To'otoo is just an intriguing guy. He's someone that's almost never mentioned. For a top 60 guy, there just seems to be zero hype about him.

I think, just my thought they put 10-15 pds on him and let him
learn behind 2 guys they just signed. he and Robinson will be manning the
    ILB for a long time.

Even if we're going that route, we really need a Box S because the two guys we signed just aren't good coverage LB's. They're somehow better than Bush/Jack in coverage, but that's more of a testament on how horrible Bush/Jack really was. Precisely why I think Branch is very much in play at 17 as he can play slot and box and then allow Kazee and Minkah to play deep.

If 17 is Branch (a safety who can play corner) and 32 is Simpson (a lb who can play safety) the Steelers would have two incredible chess pieces to play with in the passing game.

I believe if one of the top 3 CB’s aren’t there the Steelers will trade back. Assuming a trade of 1.17 to LAC for 1.21 and 3.85.

I think the two players high on the Steelers chart are Dewand Jones RT and Maze Smith NT. So here goes:

    1.21 - Dawand Jones RT
    2.32 - Mazi Smith NT
    2.49 - Julius Brents CB
    3.80 - Jordan Battle S
3.85 - Edge, ILB or Slot WR or Slot cb

I’d be ok with either of these two outcomes.

Listening to MT, I don't think we are drafting a Nose Tackle. Perhaps they view Mazi as a versatile DLineman and therefore it works (I personally think he is more of a pass rusher myself) but it doesn't look like the Steelers won a 2 down Nose Tackle. And certainly not that early.

Smith can play nose tackle, but he is athletic enough for a role more like what Heyward currently does.

If so, then he is an option. But the oversized guy who just sits and stops the run on 1st and 2nd down simply don't seem to interest the FO.

Unless he was fibbing to confuse other teams it doesn't look like the ressurection of a Casey Hampton like NT is in our future :)

I think this would look pretty good. Idk. The positions fit. Could potentially go with a WR or DL in there too depending on who we like. Mazi Smith if Jones is taken is alright. Or Benton. Idk there's lots of options.

    1. Joey Porter Jr - CB - Penn St.
    2. Dawand Jones - OT - Ohio St.
    2b. Jack Campbell - ILB - Iowa
    3. Jordan Battle - S - Alabama

This guy is going to bust so hard. It’s not talent, it’s his head. Telling teams no if they aren’t in the top 10?

Wow, absolute **** attitude. He is in for a rude awakening when he finds out how much better the pros are than college. He doesn’t have the work ethic to make it.
