2022 Stats 9 Carries for 8 first downs and 1 TD. Anybody do better than that?
Derek Watt Career Stats | NFL.com

90% chance you were picking up the 1st down if you gave the ball to Watt last year!

Ya, I'd say he did ok for himself. That's a lot of spare change.

Didn't know what thread to put this in but the NFL Netwotk show Total Access is total garbage. MJD is the biggest homer I have ever seen. I have no idea how he is employed. He is unwatchable.
He doesn't think much of the Steelers and thinks Purdy will be the best 2nd year QB.
Can't wait until he is proven wrong .

That's a good chunk of change, but I often wonder about the expense involved for players as well. Federal taxes are consistent, but state and local taxes vary, also depending if they only live in the teams area during the season and have a more permanent home in another location the taxes for that location (at least partial year) are due. Every city with a sports team has a special tax, every player gets taxed when they play in that city..does not seem like much but a report I listened to puts that total amount at 2.5 billion for all sports leagues. Agents, personal trainers, dieticians, massages (for certain individuals, lol)..the list can go on. Not every player gets endorsements, even nominal. So that 12 million is more than most any american would see in their lives, and even after all the expenses is more than most see let alone make, but it's not necessarily the set up for life money many might think. If a player does not blow it and invests it correctly it certainly is something to build on at 28-30, but for the average player coming out of a 4-6 year career it's not the wealth many imagine.

120 million STD likes is admirable, but it won't pay for the brew on game day.

It would be if every player went into it with the mindset of what You brought up.....You only have 4-6 to make this.....so if You don't act stupid.....even with the taxes, and trainers You can live very very comfortably. Now if You go out ,and eat 300 dollar meals every day, buy every vehicle you like, buy 1000 shoes, and spend like Your pocket are on fire.....Yes you will be broke.
Example growing up I know 2 different kids that lost their families in bad accidents. One Guy was given a trust fund of a million...I believe 6 million in all after a certain age. The other was a Girl ,and She only got about a million all together. She is still doing very well. The Guy decided to take a whole gang of people to watch the shuttle that blew up. He also bought a band all their equipment just so He could play with them.....Last I heard He had to sell His house to get by in something less. He's almost completely broke last I heard. . So yes if You're an idiot. You can go broke quickly.

I remember Terry Bradshaw showing up to camp in an old Bronco, Jack lambert in a beat up pick up, my kind of guys lol.

Back in the early 80's a guy near Oil City, PA won at the time the largest lottery. It was millions (even with an early pay out). His GF sued for half and after years she won. When they tried to recoup he was could not pay off. They put a lien on his land and holdings, an auction was held. In pole barns he had brand new cars, hundreds of bikes, many brand new motorcycles, the building were just stuffed with things he bought. The dude was in his late 60's by then, and had nothing. Stupid is as stupid does.

100 pennies make a pound, so 400 1/4, (assuming they are all copper), will get you $3.93 cents at todays exchange rate! You know I must be bored as hell to think this through AND post. lmao

thats what I get for just looking at the first google answer. 145 copper pennies, 181 copper/zinc plated, 168 steel plated. Now I feel more stupid than when I began this day. LMAO

Now I get it, the 100 was British pence, So STD if you are ever offered Pence, you might get more gas.
