We just refuse to use our OLBs to slow,down the TE they're not gonna get to the QB anyway when you allow a free release..I don't see the point....

Not butler's fault. This is not a talented defense. I dont see a ramsey, Donald, von, mack, earl thomas, etc.. playmakers kn def off that elk. Cant expect a bunch of borderline starters to be elite.

This is what happens when you have a complete inability to draft or develop talent on the defensive side of the ball.

It has been a problem for the entire Tomlin era. You would think you would make a change at some point but .... it is the Tomlin era. Do the same thing game after game and year after year whether it works or not.

 

wow why cant the steelers find a way to bring in anyone that can cover. 35 pts in 3 quarters and the feeling it will never change gets old

The defense has been stunningly bad today. I know they are a little beat up on the line and at corner, but this is ridiculous.

 

They didn't go 5 wide and got some penalties. It was pretty lucky.
