That's my point about him. He has straight line speed but no elusiveness. He cant make anyone miss in the open field.

As I said in another thread, running a Tampa 2 requires uber athletic linebackers. Within the same vein, there should be contingency plans if your star player is the central figure and goes down.


The latter portion placates heavily on Butler's shortcomings. Lack of adjustments. Talent is not the issue.

If you're trying to compete, why ALWAYS do a short shovel pass on 3rd and 18. I mean I get that you don't want to potentially throw a pick six, but at least try to get a first down.
