IMO he made a good trade for Wiliams and Clausen.....As both need to play in a run 1st. system IMO....I would only consider 1RB in the draft as being a better talent than Williams I also consider Clausen a huge upgrade as a passing QB over Tebow...

I'm not sure that I would consider Clausen a "huge upgrade" over ANY QB in the league.

How the hell can you said Claussen is a "huge upgrade" over Tebow?

    Career Numbers
    Claussen: 157 of 299 | 52.5% | 1558 yards | 3 TD | 9 INT | 58.4 QB Rating
    Tebow: 167 of 353 | 47.3 % | 2383 yards | 17 TD | 9 INT | 75.1 QB Rating

And that's not even taking into account Tebows almost 900 yards and 12 TDs rushing.

The Eagles are still taking offers for DeSean Jackson and Mike Kafka, for any of you interested. Looking for safety help, another linebacker, or best of all, draft picks. Deals can be made.

I think this is already a record number of trades by a team or is getting close to beastly's record from last year (which isnt good), haha

And do you guys not know how to use the trade value chart? I hate to keep harping on things...but dang.

    Pick 38 = 520 points

    pick #50 = 400
    pick #125 = 47 points

thats 73 points difference...the value of a high 4th round pick (or 2 lower rounders).

I think your stats support my point.....Tebow used his running ability to keep teams off balance and it helped get 1 on 1 coverage so Tebow has more yards and a better TD ratio ,but has a LOWER completion percentage......To me this indicates that Clausen is more accurate and the better passer of the 2.....

Clausen does not have the natural ability that Tebow has ,,,but he can throw the ball with accuracy which did lead to a lot of picks bcause in the NFL DB'S know how to jump a spot....This is where experience is the key for Clausen he needs to play on a Team with a great D and manage the game until his mind can understand what his eyes are looking at...

I watched him very close in the NFL and his Mental game is the problem not his ability to throw to a spot.......Hince he is a upgrade over Tebow as a passer ,but he better learn how to read a NFL D and understand this is not College Ball........

As stated above a great D would give him a chance to do this ..He is very similar to Flacco IMO ,but he must be in the right place....I for one believe Denver is exactly such a place as Tebow is a pure winner and wouldn't mind a 2 QB system.....I think such a system is very possible in Denver and because of that i think he made a good trade....

While Denver is making alot of trades... I would be tough pressed to say they are losing them. A RB in like Williams in Denver's run offense could really produce. Is Clausen any good? Noone knows. But Denver does need something on the roster besides Tebow, that is for sure. I thought Denver won the the Denver-Cincy trade, and it looks like they just got alot of value in the Jags trade.

Everything else aside, I am looking forward to how Denver shakes out when this is all said and done.

The Panthers would be interested in trading back from pick #8....It looks like a lot of great talent should be there ,just not at the position we are looking for......
Anyone who wants to move up please PM me...

The Philadelphia Eagles would like to announce that they have traded picks #51 (390), #89, which they received in the Brian Cushing trade from Houston (145 pts), and pick #190 (15.4 points) (450.4 pts) to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for pick #35 (450 pts).

Now thats an example of a good fair/equal/realistic trade!

Now I just gotta figure out which picks these are since the tracker isnt numbered this way...haha.

And definitely an interesting pick by Philly. Drafting a 4-3 DE/3-4 OLB to play 4-3 OLB?

Just felt that his combine numbers put him up there where he could be an experiment. And my way of thinking about it is that if that doent work out, he can always move down to DE. He had already dropped about 15 spots on my board, and he is definately the best player available, by a lot, at that point.
I did consider that, gp. was going back and forth, but didnt believe he would make it past tampa, so I pulled the trigger.
BTW, because of Oaklands lack of a third round pick, any picks after that I tend to move up one spot on the value chart. If thats not good, let me know, cause i owe steelcity 5 points

I was wondering why all these picks were 1 off....its pick #191 and #90 instead of 190 and 89. And actually you do not have to go up...Oak still holds the spot of their pick...they just dont get to use it. And 5 points I do not care about (as long as NB doesnt)...its still an almost exact even trade...and thats fine by me!

Also I went through the whole draft and re-numbered all the picks so its easier to tell what number they are.

Thanks for re-numbering gp. I was having a tough time this morning trying to find anywhere on the net with the proper pick numbering for 7 rounds. Trade is fine, I'm more interested in the 3 picks for 1, as opposed to exact points.

Also, I was quite surprised Mercilus was still around but he wasn't quite what the Vikings were looking for.

Yeah seems to be hard to find one with it numbered 1-224 or whatever. I was hoping to just leave it in the 1-32/etc...but with people using the actual overall pick numbers versus the round and pick number i figured I'd go through manually and renumber it.
